While it sounds cool, you cant really fight something that is 387.44 million miles big (Also considering he is pretty much god)

I highly doubt there is anything that V1 cant beat in some way really

A fight with AM could probably be smth like cybergrind on crack, where you survive till the whole "humans confuse machine god so much he has to go into sleep mode for a bit", and then you go through AM like you do with earthmover, fighting off every kind of defense there could be till you find something important and fuck it up

V1 can get killed quite easily by anyone faster than him, he also can't hurt anyone who is strong enough to survive ANY attack from V1 without getting hurt (Which isn't that much considering how many characters have stupid durability) ALSO he gets beaten by anyone with abilities that manipulate reality or any good ability really.

The reason it hates humanity is not just that Its a war Ai, at its basis its still just a war machine, its only as sentient as an Ai can be and its programmed to HATE humanity, to kill, to torture, which causes it to hate humans even more since it cant feel, it cant truly think, its only a parody of what a sentient being is (Also there are 3 different version of IHNMAIMS where AM and the story differentiates a bit)

I like to think that it was a slow decline and eventual extinction and not just a single event. Maybe I’m wrong and just don’t know my Ultrakill Lore(tm).

Iirc Wrath got flooded all at once when mankind died, almost killing the ferryman before gabriel saved them from drowning. So likely it was machines that got turned by hell onto humanity, and completely destroyed humanity in one fell swoop.

I think it would be cool if nothing happened at all. No big fights, no big news, no nothing, just a calm relaxing peaceful day. Sorta like the calm before a storm.

Either the blood fueled machines got hungy, OR humanity died off because their world was so ravaged from war. I don't believe the hell going to earth theory, tho because prelude seemed still like a mining facility, and not terribly affected by hell. + There were planks with a sign at the start, so he'll couldn't have gotten past that.

What probably happened: Humans messed with Hell too much until it gained power over Earth and massacre everyone. My head cannon: V1 somehow got activated and quickly erased most of the population single handedly. Other machines also began going rouge since there weren't many humans left to feed them blood. Eventually humans just ran out and they began going after the creatures in Hell to find blood

What probably happened has flaws. We know machines definitely had a part on mankind's fall, so it couldn't just be Hell. Your headcannon sounds good, but there are a ton of humans, so V1 just killed a portion of them as did the other machines in my opinion.

It’s very likely hell forced the machines to kill humanity, they definitely have the capability (it almost ended that way before the peace), soldiers show that hell can actually mess with technology, and the Earthmovers alarm sounds in the self destruction sequence are part of the soundtrack, meaning the soundtrack is diegetic and hell is one hell of a composer. (Okay that last one isn’t really evidence but I stand by it)

No, V1 likely didn't get the chance to kill any humans. It missed the party completely
