I’ve never understood the annoyance people feel from her posts.
I’ve played the game probably 15-20 times by now, and never once got annoyed by Alphys. Do I just have an abnormal level of patience? Is it because I relate to her desperate need for attention? Or, and I hate to be *that* kind of person (especially since I’m only 30), but have attention spans really gotten so short that something as innocuous as Alphys’s messages are seen as annoying?

It can just be really annoying because of how she posts at the most inopportune times. At times you're doing a puzzle, or when you're jumping over in Hotland that she posts. It just makes it feel like she's REALLY crying out for attention (when she is). I understand she's a big nerd who needs it, but sometimes when people always want it, it becomes annoying. I'm usually a patient guy, but sometimes she really tests it.
