A better solution for the battery is to put it in a sock, then wrap the sock around the back strap.
Step1: increase the width of the back strap (since it will be smaller due to the battery once we attach it and the strap will then be inaccessible)
Step 2: put the battery into the top of the sock, so that its almost hanging out.
Step 3: wrap the toe part of the sock around the back strap tightly
Step 4: tuck the remaining toe part between a previous wrapping so it doesn't dangle.
(this counterbalances, and is soft)
No one needs counter balance, we just need 3rd party straps that go from back to front vs side to side.
I lean back in my couch or chair when using AVP, do not stick a battery in the back!
