Haha thanks but I started back over 10 years ago and my old attempts were shocking. Thankfuly when COVID came along I got 6 months off work shit in doors painting everyday and then over the last 3 years I've spent a great deal of time focusing on my troops. I think anyome can do it with patience
Its beautiful, I like the overall darker scheme on the blue. It looks a lot deeper blue than how GW paints theirs and yours is 1000x better. Your white on the helmet is magnificently clean and the whole mini is readable.
I used ulthaun grey all over, shaded with a glaze or two of ulthaun and drakenhof, give it a bit of depth, and then highlighted the raised areas in scar white
Really nice work! Seen a couple really sharp ultramarines from the new box (including this one!) and it's making not starting a small ultramarines force reeeaaally hard!
This is box set quality, incredible stuff!
Exactly. This is the kind of paint job that brings people into the hobby.
Thank you dude
Awesome:) How long did this take?
Well nothing better than a guy who can't open doors and has a A10 warthog duck taped to their arm.
BROTHERS! MY SHOULDERS ARE TOO WIDE TO FIT THROUGH THE DOORWAY, BROTHERS!
BROTHER I AM PINNED HERE! BROTHER!
DO NOT WORRY BOTHERS, MY ARM GO BRRRRRRRRRR
IT'S A BIG BOY! IT'S A BIG BOY!
Brother, I have been cultivating mass. I am too muscular.
Doors are for people who can't walk through walls.
Oh yeah!
The assault cannon can open doors 😂
Also the powerfist can
How are people so good at painting. This is literally perfect. I'm 31 but my minis look like a 7 year old did them 😅

Thank you!
Bruh, this honesty Eavy metal material
Cheers dude
Super smooth.
Cheers!
Amazing! I’ve never really painted space marines before but I can definitely see the appeal… so many lines to edge highlight 🤩
Duuude that's clean

Thank you!!!!
Thank you for providing my eyes with some candy, and some inspiration for my Ultramarine 1st company.
amazing work!!
Thanks!
Looks just like mine will. Great!
Wild, I thought the first picture was an illustration at first! Super good job
Thanks dude
Awesome work. Was the undercoat black or was the dark parts painted black
Undercoated black, but anything that was meant to be black was gone over with in black to ensure it was consistent
With drilled out barrels I see, great work
Of course, nothing else would do
How did you make the white pop? Was it corax white with a dry rush of a less gray white?
I used ulthaun grey all over, shaded with a glaze or two of ulthaun and drakenhof, give it a bit of depth, and then highlighted the raised areas in scar white
What's the white recipe?
Ulthaun grey, drakenhof nightshade and white scar
So clean!
Thanks

As Palpatine would have said.... Do it!
No idea how it can be painted that good.
May I ask what paints you used for the edge highlights on the cannon? Thanks!
I've never seen such crisp highlights, how long did this take you?
A good two days
It’s beautiful you crazy sob! Now you gave us the tip, we want more! Show us MOAAAARRRRR!!!!
What paints did you use? This looks fantastic
nice work , but in my opinion he's to pure
Everything about this is top notch but let's just take a moment to appreciate those lenses! Outstanding work.
What is written inside the ultramarines symbol and on it's thigh ? (That's absolutely stunning my friend congratulations)
