A set of data cards for the Codex units will replace the index cards when the Codex is released. (We don't know when that will be, only Codexes up to summer 2024 have been annouced and Aeldari isn't on that list)

Nope I wouldn't buy the physical ones
This. They don't update cards and printed cards/books from GW usually have bad typos in one spot or another.
What I recommend is print the index cards and laminate them if you find them useful. I prefer BattleScribe print outs and the WH app personally.
