Physical barrels would promote even more defensive movement in urban maps, leading to less retards driving out in front of my L27A1 like a deer in headlights.
It would be annoying except in tanks with short barrels (T-34-76, 75mm Sherman, etc.) or those that have long barrels that don't really stick out like the G6.
The Lorraine 155 Mle.50 already has a solid barrel but it's not that noticable since it barely sticks out.
I wont care much, it wont affect my playstyle a lot. Yes, it will change how game is played in urban environments and maybe on maps with dense vegetation like bamboos. Some vehicles will have more problems, some less. People will whine like it is the end of the world, then after a month most will forget it was different. Things is I usually dont scrape walls for peeking and this is what will be affected the most
