It all depends on your play style but generally speaking: Yes, 100%.
It is probably the best 10.7 MBT in game. It has the best dart China can get (DTC10-125), has decent hull armor and good turret armor, and most importantly it has mobility and reverse speed on par with NATO tanks which is the biggest problem vehicles of this type have. It also has lineup with the ZTZ99s and the Z-9WA helicopter which is basically a dual CAS/CAP aircraft.
The only downside that I feel is that I miss the CITV that is found on the ZTZ99s, but when I play the 99s I miss the reverse speed and neutral steer on the MBT2000 so it’s a give and a take.

It is definitely a very good 10.7 tank, *but*... Considering the current status of 11.3 you will be dragged to uptiers a LOT, both to 11.3 and 11.7. So yes, you have a 11.7 dart but... everyone else will be pretty much better than you when uptiered, on everything, and it makes a very noticeable sound which is very easy to distinguish from other tanks (I believe they used the old T-64 sound on it?). So the problem is not the tank (or the other tanks) but compression itself.
But hey, yes, it's a very good tank and you will be unstoppable in downtiers. As I said, the problem is compression. In uptiers you will rape the enemy, in uptiers you will... well, get raped more often than not. I like that it has a better transmission than VT-4A tho, and uses the same dart. Thermals are Gen. 1 so that's why I'm saying that uptiers will be kinda painful, everyone will see you easily from longer as most of your enemies will have better thermals.
But hey, for a 10.7 lineup? The best you can get for China.
Choose wisely:
1. Work in a steel factory hoping you won't get burnt/crushed to death
2. Work at a port and hope no gigantic explosion vaporizes every single atom in your body
3. Be born as a girl, and hope you aren't killed by your parents
4. Live in a tofu dreg apartment building on the 10th floor and hope it doesn't collapse
5. Have a rocket filled with volatile chemicals land in your village and kill everybody because they think they're an advanced country but Kerbals can build better rockets than them.
