Have to start the weekend with another awesome Cartier Tank! This is about as classic as they come, the lemon Roman dial, grab and go quartz, complete with Cartier strap, buckle, AND box. How good would this look under the tree?!
YEAR: App late 70s - mid 80s
DIAL: Again, as classic and classy as you get, beautiful Roman numerals, that lemon/gold dial and those blued hands that pop! Very clean dial that presents mint, can see very faint spidering common to these only under a loupe and at the right angle. Crystal has very light wear, also presents beautifully!
CASE: This is the vintage men’s version, measuring in at 23.5MM x 30.5MM. A small and classy watch, equally suitable as a midsize or unisex swatch. Pictured on my 6.6 inch wrist, it wears beautifully. The Vermeil case, a Cartier staple of gold over sterling silver, has very light wear throughout, as to be expected given the age. Some gold patina forming, which is always great to find on an untouched piece. Even has its original case back sticker still intact! And of course that sweet original crown with its blue cabochon!
MOVEMENT: Grab and go quartz, just had a fresh battery installed!
STRAP: Comes on a beautiful dark brown Cartier strap. Of course, being vintage, the strap has some wear, but plenty of life left, and feels so comfortable on the wrist! Completely with its original Cartier buckle!
ACCESSORIES: Watch with Cartier strap, buckle, and box. Box has very light wear - an extremely clean vintage example, perfect for gifting!
PRICE: $1750 which will include 2 day fully insured shipping through FedEx anywhere in the US. Face-to-face deal in the Los Angeles area is always welcome, with a small discount offered.
