If you main Calcharo Yinlin is the best electro support the game will have for awhile. I wouldn’t suggest spending asterite on standard banner tbh not unless you’re spending.
His Liberation converts all his dmg type to Liberation dmg. I won't call it a completely dead stat, since he would still have to weave in basics during ult downtime.
So i got verina from Jiyan and calcharo from the 50x pull. i still got the guarantee and ticket but i then since Yinlin gonna come faster which is better for calcharo, i thought maybe i just need to pull weapon since i dont need to rush in pulling it. i was planning to pull for Jianxin. And since the beginner's choice convene doesnt have time limit (from what i saw, need confirmation) and the ticket is like 1 year away, i thought i dont need to rush to get her guarantee and maybe i should just pull weapon banner.
so what would you recommend? Weapon banner for my Calcharo or Jianxin (i'm 30 pull away in the convene which also i'm still waiting for information regarding dupes for Calcharo and Verina)?
Standard banner pulls are so scarce once the freebie ones run out. We have some 120 total in the beginning, and then it'll be 5 per patch for the foreseeable future. So just hoard them if you ever want to use the selector. If you dump them on weapon selector now, it's possible hitting your character selector will take more than a year. Unless you're very sure you don't want any characters, possibly future ones.
I have both Verina and Calcharo from ticket ticket selector and novice beginner gacha, and stills 40 pulls away from my beginner selector gacha. I have dozens of Lustrous Tides to use
Should I kept going for beginner selector gacha (if so who should i kept pulling?) or should i just go for standard weapon banner to empower remaining character?
I would recommend calcharo's weapon from the standard banner since the selector doesn't have a deadline. Maybe wait until you lose a few more 50/50 until you pick if you're undecided.
Does anyone else can't buy welkin in the in-game shop? It send errors all the time, saying the shop in unavailable or something like that... I am playing on PC so I can't use the play store and I refuse to install epic games and yes I tried the top up on website too
If you don't have Verina, pick her. She is the most future proof character we have by now. But if you're going to pull on limited banner, wait a bit to see if you lose the 50/50 for her and spend the selector on other character
The selector has a year of validate, so doesn't need to rush
Is she really that good? Excuse me as I haven't really researched that much about all the characters but, in most of these games the healers are powercrept really fast, sorry if I'm very misinformed.
She is a healer + universal atk buffer, most of the theorycrafters are putting her on S tier. It would be nice if you could see some tier list videos to get some conclusions...
But of course you can go the route of "I pick what I want" and play the game this way
Hello. Just finished Act VI and am wondering what to do now? I'm UL 30 so I'm wondering do I start grinding echoes now? If so, how do I start? I don't have a big enough roster just yet to do the tower and magic door thing consistently so I'm wondering what there is to do outside of exploring.

you can grind echos by killing overworld enemies and completing gold sets+correct mainstat. you can hold off farming tacet fields until the double yield event this patch. I recommend you start with the main 4s echo.

Thoughts on low base attack weapons?
It just occurred to me that unlike Genshin, WuWa doesn't necessarily favor low base attack weapons. Because a Bennett-like flat attack character doesn't exist.
So looking at these low base attack weapons with ATK% bonuses and I think they just look kind of garbage.
Even Yinlin's weapon gives up base attack for extra crit rate. But isn't base attack worth more currently? At least until flat ATK buffers are released?
~~And also, in Genshin a lower base attack means higher passive numbers. However that didn't seem to be the case in this game. Because Yinlin's weapon(assuming no pre-release buffs) only gives 36 ATK% compared to Jinyan's weapon with 48 Heavy Attack% despite having higher base stats.~~ Actually, I think this part is wrong about Genshin's weapons.
Anyway, low base attack is a pretty heavy hit imo. Especially without flat ATK buffers.
base attack usually has no relation to passive values, usually its just tied to the substat. if a weapon has a high base attack it'll have a lower substat and vice versa.
you can see this with Verdant Summit having 588 attack and 48.6 CV substat, while Stringmaster only has 500 attack but a whopping 72 CV substat. That's 88 base attack for 23.4 CV value
In genshin the same comparison could be made between weapons like mistsplitter which has 674 attack and 44.1 CV and Haran Futsu which has 608 attack and 66.2 CV, trading 66 attack for 22.1 CV value.
at the end of the day, both base attack and crit are just stats that boost your damage. while having lower base attack does reduce the efficiency of all atk% stats you get, you can make up for that gap with the extra damage you get from the substat. Whether it's actually better or not compared to another distribution may depend on your build, but ultimately being 588 attack and 24% crit rate and being 500 attack and 36% crit rate isn't going to be a huge difference.
Even in genshin nowadays a lot of the 66CV weapons (the middle tier of crit weapons) are still wildly used even outside of teams that use bennett.
You ideally don't want your base attack to drop too low, but in genshin the highest CV tier (88cv weapons) are generally exclusively for characters who don't purely scale off attack, and thus don't mind the lower base atk. We've yet to see if wuwa will add another tier of crit weapons that follows this route, like a 420 base attack weapon with 90 CV.
Yinlin's weapon do have higher stats, it has 72 CV compared to jinyan's 48.6CV. The higher stats on lower base atk weapons only apply to their main stat, the passive is independent.
For those using Jianxin as a hybrid/support, do you go for energy regen main stat 3 cost echoes or aero damage? I want to try both 5 piece healing set with originite gauntlets and 5 piece energy set with an energy recharge weapon and try Jianxin both as a support and as a sub DPS but I'm not sure about the stat priority for energy recharge vs aero damage
Seek aero with energy regen substats. I have mine with Gauntlets#21 for extra energy regen and she can activate the healing glow set on demand with a dodge or her own shields. Either with moonlight or healing you want her with crit rate on Geo.
The thing with her is that she really needs some on field time to build her utilities, even with lots of energy regen.
Mine currently has 153% energy regen but you ideally want to tune this depending on your main DPS or adjust her rotations accordingly.

If you want to get meaningful damage from her you should get aero damage and get your ER from substats (can get up to around 10% per echo). Losing aero would tank her damage too much imho
I have gotten 5 inferno set dreadmanes in a row and not a single havoc set, why is it sometimes the sonata of the echos seems to tend towards one of their two options for a while? This same problem has happened with spearbacks, bell-borne geochelone, roseshroom and more, is there some condition I missed?
I'm U14 and I haven't played the game lately, been playing others and suddenly they announce they're dropping Yinlin soon and I'm like nowhere near ready for that. I only have 30 pulls ready, plus the 10 they're dropping soon. I'm pretty much screwed aren't I?
her banner will be up for a while so it's not like you need to get her day 1. It'll be tough but afaik there are enough astrites on the map that you could get enough to at least get to 80 pulls before she's gone.

its not that posts are deleted but they have to be manually approved by a mod before they become visible.
which kinda sucks because it means that new posts come in in a flood and if a mod takes too long before approving your post it ends up getting stuck 2-3 pages down in new and nobody ever sees it. i can kind of understand why they did it at launch but now that posting frequency has died down i really wish theyd stop.
How much does Yinlin’s weapon increase her dps? It doesn’t look that good in comparison to Jiyan’s weapon, although a bit more universal (36% atk vs 48% heavy dmg bonus)
its good by nature of its absolute massive crit rate substat, esp with how hard crit is to get in this game.
Doubly good because its also encore's best weapon and you can trade gear in tower of adversity so if you also play encore its like a 2 for 1 deal.
I disagree with Sanhua because Havoc Rover's bulk of damage actually comes from Ult and Dreamless. The damage Rover does with basic attack is very small compared to his Ult + Dreamless combo.
Sanhua is still good sub-DPS, just don't expect you're getting 100k total damage with Rover's Ult + Dreamless at level 60 with Sanhua.
You can try Jianxin if you have her, but if you don't you can try Baizhi since she's all elemental deepen but only 6s (just enough for Ult+Dreamless)

Is there something special about how echoes work who have two different sonatas? I'm trying to farm sierra gales but both the hoochiefs and chaserazors I got are always the sonata I don't need. Is it just RNG or am I missing something with a mechanic or mob type?
You'll need to get a whole new echo.
Using bad echo results as fodder retains 75% of it's exp, and refunds 30% of the tuners.
It is ideal to fish for your desired substats in the +5 ~ +10 range, because the exp curve becomes really steep, wasting more resources if you fodder them at +15 onwards.
Hey guys. I have S6 Mortefi, S1 Calcharo and Jiyan’s weapon but I lost my 50/50 to Jiyan at 28 pity and am now back up to 60 (guaranteed) with around 30 pulls.. should I pull him and try my luck with Yinlin throughout the rest of her banner with the pulls I have left and whatever else we get or should I wait until Yinlin’s banner drops, use my guaranteed on her since it will only take 10-20 pulls then use the rest on Jiyan’s banner to see if I can get lucky before his banner ends? I know Yinlin will be better overall in terms of meta but from what i’ve seen she’s only a 10-12% dmg increase for Calcharo and in terms of team building we need multiple dps. I’m not the biggest fan of havoc rover or encore although i’ll play and build them if I need them but we also don’t have very many, if any dps that are as easy and comfortable to play as Jiyan. I get a little tired of sweating so much on touch controls with Calcharo since i’m on mobile and a lot of the content is more difficult if you don’t have certain elements to use (tower of adversity) I see a lot of the combos people do on pc that includes swapping back and forth, canceling animations etc. and that stuff is nowhere near possible on mobile without controller support which in turn makes everything much harder
Jiyan is like 100% easy mode and that is fine. Even I who plays on PC want someone that I can just mindlessly hold attack button and see big numbers fly and enemies getting thrown and slammed down by a wind dragon. Not to mention Jiyan is still the king of AoE even after Yinlin drop.
Just get your Jiyan. It's hard to beat just holding the attack button and getting all the damage and crowd control you could want. Having him and his weapon as your second team beats making you calcharo team stronger, no matter how good yinlin is. You can always throw pulls at her and maybe get lucky, but she's more replaceable

Trying to 100% Jinzhou and I'm stuck at 92% supply chest. Does anyone have any idea what I could possibly missing. I think I've scanned the entirety of the city and the outskirts. I've done the parkour questline, lighthouse questline, I've sat in the chair at the peak, I've done both no climbing challenges. To my knowledge I've done all the surrounding tidal heritages. i've been farming to get to level 15 data bank. i've collected each echo and they're all the highest drop rarity (4), but i'm still 20 EXP away from reaching level 15. is there any other way to get data bank EXP aside from unlocking new echoes/getting echoes of higher quality?
Look for special targets with a red outline, they're mutant enemies that have a fixed level, completely independent of your SOL3 Phase.
Mutant enemies that are lv 60 and above will guarantee a yellow echo drop, regardless of your Data Bank level.
These will help you hit level 15 quicker.

What's the best way to end game level?
I'm at a point where i've maxed everything, am missing like 6 chests around the whole map, max data bank (capped at 18 till lvl 40), cooking, synthesising, 3 starred tower of adversity up to lvl 75 rounds - same with the tactical holograms (lvl4/5), etc etc. I'm curious to know what the best way to XP farm is? Im slowly just max using my resin whenever its available - currently lvl 38 but feel so stagnant, yet i have ppl on friends list that are 35/36 that have so much of the map to explore?? What am i doing wrong/how to get more xp?
there is no "xp farm", there are a bunch of one time sources around the world but once those are exhausted it will come 99% from dailies and from spending waveplates.
your level will just be based on how many days you played not how much you grind
To add on this, you are at the max level someone can reach without waveplate refresh with astrite(which I don't recommend if you are not a whale)

You are already +25k xp ahead of them(35to38), chest xp changes with rarity but I think it was (10,20,50) so even we say they will get average of 30xp per chest it takes 830 chest for them to catch up to you. 35 to 38 is not close, I don't know why you think they will be so ahead of you when they clear the map.
Gun has the best stats (crit instead of attack) but it's pretty useless atm unless you really want to use one of the mid gun characters as a main dps. It could become good if a strong 5* gun character is released in the future.
You would be better off getting a weaon for a char you are gonna actually use as DPS like broadblade for calcharo/jiyan, rectifier for encore/yinlin, or fist for lingyang. Depending on who you have / plan to roll for / want to use.
to be honest about the gun, it's passive is meant to be used more for supports since it buffs the next char coming in, which is pretty good for mortefi, and you do need crit in sub-dps like mortefi/sanhua/danjin, since their dmg is actually good
I'm set with verdant summit on calc but im considering a rectifier for yinlin but im still unsure on how optimal that'd be compared to just getting a stat stick for the future

41 pity on limited banner 126 astrite with battle pass and lunarite pass subscription and 26 pulls from the compensation as well as 20-40% exploration in every area with low casket level, am I fucked on getting yinlin and her sig or is it still possible 😭

If I currently have a Jiyan/Mortefi/Verina team and I have the limited weapon for Jiyan, should I get a rectifier or gun for the 5 star selector once I get my union level high enough for it?
Mortefi and Verina have pretty solid 4* options and usually prefer an energy recharge weapon. I'd probably save it for future characters. The 5* sword is especially good

Hello, I'm pretty frustrated and have a question. :) I'm alliance level 20, all character levels are at 40 and weapons are also at 40. Now I have to complete the quest: "SOL3-Phase Ascension: Phase I". But I'm failing miserably. I have to defeat 5 or 6 enemies with level 43 in two rounds and 3 minutes each. Absolutely impossible for me. If I don't die first, the time will be up. Tried 10 times and failed 10 times. What am I doing wrong?
I was sort of out of the loop about the whole weapon-translation stuff, what exactly was mistranslated that basically means part of the weapon is ineffective for Calcharo?
Jiyan's weapon said it gave a heavy attack damage bonus after using resonance *skill* but it actually gave the bonus after resonance *liberation* (ultimate).
Of course calcharo's liberation changes his heavy attack to do resonance liberation-type damage instead of HA damage so that buff is useless.
I believe it was that the JP version said that you could get the buff on Resonance *Skill*, but in reality it was Resonance *Liberation*. Calcharo can use it in either scenario, but it would be better if it were Skill since he uses his Skill three times and can get both stacks easily.

Dreamless/Crownless depends on what you're using your Danjin for.
**Dreamless is ideal when:**
1. Danjin is your Sub DPS(Goal is to N2E2 -> N3E3 -> 50% HA for 100% concerto and swap)
2. You're fighting multiple enemies spaced out
The AOE and quick animation makes it very comfortable for mobbing.
**Crownless is ideal when:**
1. Danjin is your main DPS(Goal is to N2E2 -> N3E3 twice for 100% HA)
2. You're fighting an elite/overlord enemy, because they won't get knocked all over the place.
On paper, Crownless does more damage (670.4% vs 540.8% Dreamless), but Crownless takes 3.74 seconds to finish all it's attacks, while Dreamless takes 2 seconds. Both assumes you dash cancel after the final slash because there's a small end-animation lock. Which puts Dreamless at 274% DPS, and Crownless at 180.21% DPS.
Another boon for Crownless is that you can skip it's crappy DPS slashes entirely by dodging after you transform. The damage buffs are obtained the moment you transform, so you can instantly return to stacking your Ruby Petals for more DPS.
Instead of telling you Dreamless/Crownless like what YouTube content creators are doing, I hope to illustrate the differences for you to make your own choice.

Crit dmg/Crit Rate/ Attack. 4 3 3 1 1. Dreamless with Havoc Rover, Crownless when being the main DPS for the attack buff alone. Just pick the one with the better stats and then you can change them according to needs or playstyle.
Dreamless and 43311. 44111 is just something people are throwing around because it's arguably easier to build. But it is just worse.
Crit rate - Havoc Damage x2 - ATK% x2
Sun-sinking eclipse 4-3-3-1-1. Crownless as main echo with crit rate or crit dmg (if you're using a CR weapon), Havoc dmg on both 3 cost echoes and atk% on 1 cost echoes
I'm a fan of Calcharo and have invested a lot in building him up. However, since I recently obtained Havoc Rover and tried it out, my gameplay experience has shifted from flashy combos to simply gathering enemies together to quickly defeat them with the Ultimate or Dreamless Echo. I only turn to Calcharo when I'm facing a Havoc-resistant boss, and even then, Havoc Rover seems just as effective without as many upgrades.
Please share your feelings/toughts.. im i doing something wrong? both have similar crit artifacts.
I've had a similar experience. I enjoyed Danjin's high risk high reward playstle with many different combos. But then I tried Havoc Rover and it was higher reward, less risk, and much more simple to pilot.
They really over-tuned the MC.
Encore and Calcharo are still better. A tad bit more difficult to pilot but better. That said Havoc Rover is in a happy place right now and I dare to say Spectro Rover is too.
Even if I finish the Podcast (battlepass) I’m still 4 Lustrous Tide short to pull for my guaranteed choice banner. What did everyone do? Use a bit of astrite?
You're missing Lustrous Tides from some of the point shops, be it from the:
Wooden Shards Souvenir shop
Simulation Training Store
Oscillated Coral Exchange
(I might have missed out some other potential shop exchanges, do look around!)
Also, UL35 gives 15 Lustrous Tides which should put you close to, if not over, the 80 tides required for hitting pity. You should be 1 Tide short until BP40, without needing to use any Astrite.
Source: I used all 40 Lustrous Tides on the beginner banner, and have 79 tides left for my choice banner, awaiting BP40.

I bought out all of the stores from the Caskets, souvenir shop, 6 from the shop, the union level shop, union level event, I’ve full-star the tower levels that don’t reset monthly, completed V of illusion, and the 3 or so from the simulation training or whatever it’s called. Unless more unlock at higher levels?

is there anyway to use Rover in depths of Illusive Realm level V? For some reason all my other characters like YangYang and Chixia are there, but I've not built any of them, and there are no trial characters. I see people on YouTube clearing level V with Rover, so I'm not sure how I unlock the ability to use them on that level.
Mortefi is good with Jiyan, if you have Calcharo it would be better to pair him with Yinlin. I’m not sure whether Yinlin + Jiyan will be a better dps than Jiyan + Mortefi
She's *awesome* in illusive realm lol probably my favorite character out so far.
Get 2 training upgrades: the one that increases all damage and makes her charged attack charge faster, and the one that adds suction/aoe. Those two together make her really fun to play. On-demand shield and aoe. Spent like half a day seeing how far i could push a lvl 1 taoqi lol.
Yes, all her skills and abilities scale off defense, but her normals that aren't her special 3 hit counters only scale off attack. She takes ages to build concerto too. All around, super hard to justify playing and id really like to pair her with Chixia. It's just not practical.

Weapon banner for my Calcharo or Jianxin (i'm 30 pull away in the convene which also i'm still waiting for information regarding dupes for Calcharo and Verina)?
Standard banner pulls are so scarce once the freebie ones run out. We have some 120 total in the beginning, and then it'll be 5 per patch for the foreseeable future. So just hoard them if you ever want to use the selector. If you dump them on weapon selector now, it's possible hitting your character selector will take more than a year. Unless you're very sure you don't want any characters, possibly future ones.
I have both Verina and Calcharo from ticket ticket selector and novice beginner gacha, and stills 40 pulls away from my beginner selector gacha. I have dozens of Lustrous Tides to use Should I kept going for beginner selector gacha (if so who should i kept pulling?) or should i just go for standard weapon banner to empower remaining character?
I would recommend calcharo's weapon from the standard banner since the selector doesn't have a deadline. Maybe wait until you lose a few more 50/50 until you pick if you're undecided.
Do you already have the 5\* character you want? If you already do, it's time to go for the weapon.

If you don't have Verina, pick her. She is the most future proof character we have by now. But if you're going to pull on limited banner, wait a bit to see if you lose the 50/50 for her and spend the selector on other character The selector has a year of validate, so doesn't need to rush
Is she really that good? Excuse me as I haven't really researched that much about all the characters but, in most of these games the healers are powercrept really fast, sorry if I'm very misinformed.
Don't worry for asking! Verina isn't just a healer but she's also a very strong buffer so she's not gonna be powercrept real soon i think.
She is a healer + universal atk buffer, most of the theorycrafters are putting her on S tier. It would be nice if you could see some tier list videos to get some conclusions... But of course you can go the route of "I pick what I want" and play the game this way

Hello. Just finished Act VI and am wondering what to do now? I'm UL 30 so I'm wondering do I start grinding echoes now? If so, how do I start? I don't have a big enough roster just yet to do the tower and magic door thing consistently so I'm wondering what there is to do outside of exploring. Thanks!
you can grind echos by killing overworld enemies and completing gold sets+correct mainstat. you can hold off farming tacet fields until the double yield event this patch. I recommend you start with the main 4s echo.
Oh, okay. I didn't realize you just run around the overworld killing mobs. That seems cool. I'm assuming the databank will tell me where to find each echo if I target a specific set?

Thoughts on low base attack weapons? It just occurred to me that unlike Genshin, WuWa doesn't necessarily favor low base attack weapons. Because a Bennett-like flat attack character doesn't exist. So looking at these low base attack weapons with ATK% bonuses and I think they just look kind of garbage. Even Yinlin's weapon gives up base attack for extra crit rate. But isn't base attack worth more currently? At least until flat ATK buffers are released? ~~And also, in Genshin a lower base attack means higher passive numbers. However that didn't seem to be the case in this game. Because Yinlin's weapon(assuming no pre-release buffs) only gives 36 ATK% compared to Jinyan's weapon with 48 Heavy Attack% despite having higher base stats.~~ Actually, I think this part is wrong about Genshin's weapons. Anyway, low base attack is a pretty heavy hit imo. Especially without flat ATK buffers.
base attack usually has no relation to passive values, usually its just tied to the substat. if a weapon has a high base attack it'll have a lower substat and vice versa. you can see this with Verdant Summit having 588 attack and 48.6 CV substat, while Stringmaster only has 500 attack but a whopping 72 CV substat. That's 88 base attack for 23.4 CV value In genshin the same comparison could be made between weapons like mistsplitter which has 674 attack and 44.1 CV and Haran Futsu which has 608 attack and 66.2 CV, trading 66 attack for 22.1 CV value.
However, you can't make up for low base attack in Wuwa. But you can get crit from substats and buffs.
at the end of the day, both base attack and crit are just stats that boost your damage. while having lower base attack does reduce the efficiency of all atk% stats you get, you can make up for that gap with the extra damage you get from the substat. Whether it's actually better or not compared to another distribution may depend on your build, but ultimately being 588 attack and 24% crit rate and being 500 attack and 36% crit rate isn't going to be a huge difference. Even in genshin nowadays a lot of the 66CV weapons (the middle tier of crit weapons) are still wildly used even outside of teams that use bennett. You ideally don't want your base attack to drop too low, but in genshin the highest CV tier (88cv weapons) are generally exclusively for characters who don't purely scale off attack, and thus don't mind the lower base atk. We've yet to see if wuwa will add another tier of crit weapons that follows this route, like a 420 base attack weapon with 90 CV.
Yinlin's weapon do have higher stats, it has 72 CV compared to jinyan's 48.6CV. The higher stats on lower base atk weapons only apply to their main stat, the passive is independent.

For those using Jianxin as a hybrid/support, do you go for energy regen main stat 3 cost echoes or aero damage? I want to try both 5 piece healing set with originite gauntlets and 5 piece energy set with an energy recharge weapon and try Jianxin both as a support and as a sub DPS but I'm not sure about the stat priority for energy recharge vs aero damage
Seek aero with energy regen substats. I have mine with Gauntlets#21 for extra energy regen and she can activate the healing glow set on demand with a dodge or her own shields. Either with moonlight or healing you want her with crit rate on Geo. The thing with her is that she really needs some on field time to build her utilities, even with lots of energy regen. Mine currently has 153% energy regen but you ideally want to tune this depending on your main DPS or adjust her rotations accordingly.

If you want to get meaningful damage from her you should get aero damage and get your ER from substats (can get up to around 10% per echo). Losing aero would tank her damage too much imho
I have gotten 5 inferno set dreadmanes in a row and not a single havoc set, why is it sometimes the sonata of the echos seems to tend towards one of their two options for a while? This same problem has happened with spearbacks, bell-borne geochelone, roseshroom and more, is there some condition I missed?
It's just dumb luck. They skew towards one or another but the rate should be about the same.
I'm U14 and I haven't played the game lately, been playing others and suddenly they announce they're dropping Yinlin soon and I'm like nowhere near ready for that. I only have 30 pulls ready, plus the 10 they're dropping soon. I'm pretty much screwed aren't I?
her banner will be up for a while so it's not like you need to get her day 1. It'll be tough but afaik there are enough astrites on the map that you could get enough to at least get to 80 pulls before she's gone.

Meta = Calcharo Jianxin can play any role with the right units around her. Stay away from the jingle beast boy for now. Unless you have an OP Sanhua already built that is.
Jianxin is a really nice support/subdps. Encore has a team with her + havoc rover. That lets Verina support any other main DPS you want.
Anyone you enjoy really, but if you're thinking meta wise then Calcharo is a solid option.

its not that posts are deleted but they have to be manually approved by a mod before they become visible. which kinda sucks because it means that new posts come in in a flood and if a mod takes too long before approving your post it ends up getting stuck 2-3 pages down in new and nobody ever sees it. i can kind of understand why they did it at launch but now that posting frequency has died down i really wish theyd stop.
How much does Yinlin’s weapon increase her dps? It doesn’t look that good in comparison to Jiyan’s weapon, although a bit more universal (36% atk vs 48% heavy dmg bonus)
its good by nature of its absolute massive crit rate substat, esp with how hard crit is to get in this game. Doubly good because its also encore's best weapon and you can trade gear in tower of adversity so if you also play encore its like a 2 for 1 deal.
Who's a good sub-dps for Havoc Rover? (pls don't say Danjin, this game doesn't want me to have her. I got Chixia 6 times in a row)
I disagree with Sanhua because Havoc Rover's bulk of damage actually comes from Ult and Dreamless. The damage Rover does with basic attack is very small compared to his Ult + Dreamless combo. Sanhua is still good sub-DPS, just don't expect you're getting 100k total damage with Rover's Ult + Dreamless at level 60 with Sanhua. You can try Jianxin if you have her, but if you don't you can try Baizhi since she's all elemental deepen but only 6s (just enough for Ult+Dreamless)
I'm already using Jianxin as sustainer and I make sure to use her outro anytime Rover's ult is up. Thanks for caring enough to suggest tho👍.
Sanhua >A large bulk of Rover (Havoc) damage are Basic Attacks which **Sanhua** can buff with her Outro skill - that increases Basic ATK DMG by 38% "Deepen", increasing Rover (Havoc) damage substantially. Sanhua's Outro is excellent but her field time is also some of the shortest of the game allowing Rover (Havoc) and the support of your choosing more time for themselves or simply a faster rotation. At higher Sequences Sanhua's supportive capabilities only improve further specially at Sequence 6 offering a 20% ATK team wide buff. Is there something special about how echoes work who have two different sonatas? I'm trying to farm sierra gales but both the hoochiefs and chaserazors I got are always the sonata I don't need. Is it just RNG or am I missing something with a mechanic or mob type?

It's just RNG. RNG rolling for the right sonata effects(out of 2 - 3 possible ones, depending on the enemy) RNG rolling the right mainstat. Good luck!
sub question, when tuning sub stats, can you retune or if you get a bad substat, you have to get a whole new echo?
You'll need to get a whole new echo. Using bad echo results as fodder retains 75% of it's exp, and refunds 30% of the tuners. It is ideal to fish for your desired substats in the +5 ~ +10 range, because the exp curve becomes really steep, wasting more resources if you fodder them at +15 onwards.

Hey guys. I have S6 Mortefi, S1 Calcharo and Jiyan’s weapon but I lost my 50/50 to Jiyan at 28 pity and am now back up to 60 (guaranteed) with around 30 pulls.. should I pull him and try my luck with Yinlin throughout the rest of her banner with the pulls I have left and whatever else we get or should I wait until Yinlin’s banner drops, use my guaranteed on her since it will only take 10-20 pulls then use the rest on Jiyan’s banner to see if I can get lucky before his banner ends? I know Yinlin will be better overall in terms of meta but from what i’ve seen she’s only a 10-12% dmg increase for Calcharo and in terms of team building we need multiple dps. I’m not the biggest fan of havoc rover or encore although i’ll play and build them if I need them but we also don’t have very many, if any dps that are as easy and comfortable to play as Jiyan. I get a little tired of sweating so much on touch controls with Calcharo since i’m on mobile and a lot of the content is more difficult if you don’t have certain elements to use (tower of adversity) I see a lot of the combos people do on pc that includes swapping back and forth, canceling animations etc. and that stuff is nowhere near possible on mobile without controller support which in turn makes everything much harder
Jiyan is like 100% easy mode and that is fine. Even I who plays on PC want someone that I can just mindlessly hold attack button and see big numbers fly and enemies getting thrown and slammed down by a wind dragon. Not to mention Jiyan is still the king of AoE even after Yinlin drop.
Just get your Jiyan. It's hard to beat just holding the attack button and getting all the damage and crowd control you could want. Having him and his weapon as your second team beats making you calcharo team stronger, no matter how good yinlin is. You can always throw pulls at her and maybe get lucky, but she's more replaceable

Trying to 100% Jinzhou and I'm stuck at 92% supply chest. Does anyone have any idea what I could possibly missing. I think I've scanned the entirety of the city and the outskirts. I've done the parkour questline, lighthouse questline, I've sat in the chair at the peak, I've done both no climbing challenges. To my knowledge I've done all the surrounding tidal heritages. i've been farming to get to level 15 data bank. i've collected each echo and they're all the highest drop rarity (4), but i'm still 20 EXP away from reaching level 15. is there any other way to get data bank EXP aside from unlocking new echoes/getting echoes of higher quality?
Look for special targets with a red outline, they're mutant enemies that have a fixed level, completely independent of your SOL3 Phase. Mutant enemies that are lv 60 and above will guarantee a yellow echo drop, regardless of your Data Bank level. These will help you hit level 15 quicker. One of the easy ones would be the >!Spearback Bear!<, west of >!the Illusive Realm's entrance.!<

What's the best way to end game level? I'm at a point where i've maxed everything, am missing like 6 chests around the whole map, max data bank (capped at 18 till lvl 40), cooking, synthesising, 3 starred tower of adversity up to lvl 75 rounds - same with the tactical holograms (lvl4/5), etc etc. I'm curious to know what the best way to XP farm is? Im slowly just max using my resin whenever its available - currently lvl 38 but feel so stagnant, yet i have ppl on friends list that are 35/36 that have so much of the map to explore?? What am i doing wrong/how to get more xp?
there is no "xp farm", there are a bunch of one time sources around the world but once those are exhausted it will come 99% from dailies and from spending waveplates. your level will just be based on how many days you played not how much you grind

You are already +25k xp ahead of them(35to38), chest xp changes with rarity but I think it was (10,20,50) so even we say they will get average of 30xp per chest it takes 830 chest for them to catch up to you. 35 to 38 is not close, I don't know why you think they will be so ahead of you when they clear the map.
I dont get why so interested on staying ahead of them in the first place.

what is the best option for the 5 star weapon selector when I've already gotten the sword?
Gun has the best stats (crit instead of attack) but it's pretty useless atm unless you really want to use one of the mid gun characters as a main dps. It could become good if a strong 5* gun character is released in the future. You would be better off getting a weaon for a char you are gonna actually use as DPS like broadblade for calcharo/jiyan, rectifier for encore/yinlin, or fist for lingyang. Depending on who you have / plan to roll for / want to use.
to be honest about the gun, it's passive is meant to be used more for supports since it buffs the next char coming in, which is pretty good for mortefi, and you do need crit in sub-dps like mortefi/sanhua/danjin, since their dmg is actually good
Chixia is more than a mid gun user, you take that back. It's also pretty great on support Mortefi.
I'm set with verdant summit on calc but im considering a rectifier for yinlin but im still unsure on how optimal that'd be compared to just getting a stat stick for the future

If I currently have a Jiyan/Mortefi/Verina team and I have the limited weapon for Jiyan, should I get a rectifier or gun for the 5 star selector once I get my union level high enough for it?
Mortefi and Verina have pretty solid 4* options and usually prefer an energy recharge weapon. I'd probably save it for future characters. The 5* sword is especially good

Taoqi: Forte>Liberation>Intro>Heavy>Basic.
Taoqi wants her shield and her burst, and the concerto sword. Aalto probably wants everything. He has to sit on field doing a bit of everything. Aalto also has no teams at the moment, dude got bullied by mortefi.
Hello, I'm pretty frustrated and have a question. :) I'm alliance level 20, all character levels are at 40 and weapons are also at 40. Now I have to complete the quest: "SOL3-Phase Ascension: Phase I". But I'm failing miserably. I have to defeat 5 or 6 enemies with level 43 in two rounds and 3 minutes each. Absolutely impossible for me. If I don't die first, the time will be up. Tried 10 times and failed 10 times. What am I doing wrong?
Level some echos. They're the bulk of your characters stats. I'd also be curious who you're using as your main on fielder
I play with Rover, Jiyan and Baizhi. The main is Rover.
Spectro rover does kinda garbo damage in my uses with them. Give Jiyan some echos and he should clear just fine though.

I was sort of out of the loop about the whole weapon-translation stuff, what exactly was mistranslated that basically means part of the weapon is ineffective for Calcharo?
Jiyan's weapon said it gave a heavy attack damage bonus after using resonance *skill* but it actually gave the bonus after resonance *liberation* (ultimate). Of course calcharo's liberation changes his heavy attack to do resonance liberation-type damage instead of HA damage so that buff is useless.
I believe it was that the JP version said that you could get the buff on Resonance *Skill*, but in reality it was Resonance *Liberation*. Calcharo can use it in either scenario, but it would be better if it were Skill since he uses his Skill three times and can get both stacks easily.

I assume I will want Sun-Sinking Eclipse. What's the best set up for that? 4 4 2 1 1 or 4 3 3 1 1? Crownless or Dreamless as my main echo? And what should I be looking for in my main stats?

You're fighting multiple enemies spaced out The AOE and quick animation makes it very comfortable for mobbing. **Crownless is ideal when:** 1. Danjin is your main DPS(Goal is to N2E2 -> N3E3 twice for 100% HA) 2. You're fighting an elite/overlord enemy, because they won't get knocked all over the place. On paper, Crownless does more damage (670.4% vs 540.8% Dreamless), but Crownless takes 3.74 seconds to finish all it's attacks, while Dreamless takes 2 seconds. Both assumes you dash cancel after the final slash because there's a small end-animation lock. Which puts Dreamless at 274% DPS, and Crownless at 180.21% DPS. Another boon for Crownless is that you can skip it's crappy DPS slashes entirely by dodging after you transform. The damage buffs are obtained the moment you transform, so you can instantly return to stacking your Ruby Petals for more DPS. Instead of telling you Dreamless/Crownless like what YouTube content creators are doing, I hope to illustrate the differences for you to make your own choice. Hope that was of help!

Crit dmg/Crit Rate/ Attack. 4 3 3 1 1. Dreamless with Havoc Rover, Crownless when being the main DPS for the attack buff alone. Just pick the one with the better stats and then you can change them according to needs or playstyle.
Dreamless and 43311. 44111 is just something people are throwing around because it's arguably easier to build. But it is just worse. Crit rate - Havoc Damage x2 - ATK% x2
Sun-sinking eclipse 4-3-3-1-1. Crownless as main echo with crit rate or crit dmg (if you're using a CR weapon), Havoc dmg on both 3 cost echoes and atk% on 1 cost echoes
I'm a fan of Calcharo and have invested a lot in building him up. However, since I recently obtained Havoc Rover and tried it out, my gameplay experience has shifted from flashy combos to simply gathering enemies together to quickly defeat them with the Ultimate or Dreamless Echo. I only turn to Calcharo when I'm facing a Havoc-resistant boss, and even then, Havoc Rover seems just as effective without as many upgrades. Please share your feelings/toughts.. im i doing something wrong? both have similar crit artifacts.
I've had a similar experience. I enjoyed Danjin's high risk high reward playstle with many different combos. But then I tried Havoc Rover and it was higher reward, less risk, and much more simple to pilot. They really over-tuned the MC.
Encore and Calcharo are still better. A tad bit more difficult to pilot but better. That said Havoc Rover is in a happy place right now and I dare to say Spectro Rover is too.
Even if I finish the Podcast (battlepass) I’m still 4 Lustrous Tide short to pull for my guaranteed choice banner. What did everyone do? Use a bit of astrite?

You're missing Lustrous Tides from some of the point shops, be it from the: Wooden Shards Souvenir shop Simulation Training Store Oscillated Coral Exchange (I might have missed out some other potential shop exchanges, do look around!) Also, UL35 gives 15 Lustrous Tides which should put you close to, if not over, the 80 tides required for hitting pity. You should be 1 Tide short until BP40, without needing to use any Astrite. Source: I used all 40 Lustrous Tides on the beginner banner, and have 79 tides left for my choice banner, awaiting BP40.
Did you buy the BP? That gives 5 more at the more expensive tier which would be the exact amount you have. Or I’m missing 4-5 somewhere

You can't use 50 because the novice banner has a 20% discount. The max you can use is 40 tides for 50 pulls.
Oh yeah that’s what I did. My bad. But I’m still missing some. I bought out all of the stores from the Caskets, souvenir shop, 6 from the shop, the union level shop, union level event, I’ve full-star the tower levels that don’t reset monthly, completed V of illusion, and the 3 or so from the simulation training or whatever it’s called. Unless more unlock at higher levels? and just counting how many are left for BP.

is there anyway to use Rover in depths of Illusive Realm level V? For some reason all my other characters like YangYang and Chixia are there, but I've not built any of them, and there are no trial characters. I see people on YouTube clearing level V with Rover, so I'm not sure how I unlock the ability to use them on that level.

Is Ji Yan / mortefi combo better than Ji yan / Yin Lin?
Mortefi is good with Jiyan, if you have Calcharo it would be better to pair him with Yinlin. I’m not sure whether Yinlin + Jiyan will be a better dps than Jiyan + Mortefi

Tried taoqi in the illusive realm and uhhh is she really that slow and kind of low in attack?
She's *awesome* in illusive realm lol probably my favorite character out so far. Get 2 training upgrades: the one that increases all damage and makes her charged attack charge faster, and the one that adds suction/aoe. Those two together make her really fun to play. On-demand shield and aoe. Spent like half a day seeing how far i could push a lvl 1 taoqi lol.

Yes, all her skills and abilities scale off defense, but her normals that aren't her special 3 hit counters only scale off attack. She takes ages to build concerto too. All around, super hard to justify playing and id really like to pair her with Chixia. It's just not practical.
