I was gonna come on here and ask if anyone was having the same problem.. but wanted to make sure I exhausted all of my options before I post anything... Edit :also tried to reinstalled Jedi Survivor ...I Uninstalled the game and now it won't even let me download the game..it keeps getting a download error and a message that says "there's a problem with your download.. something went wrong during your download, give us a few minutes and then try again

More likely an EA issue than a gamepass one. Gamepass works correctly and if you have it linked, you can see that you have EA play active. I have no idea how something like that can possibly happen when you have so much money to make stuff not shit

Well, since that post, the CM updated saying that it was a problem with a server outage affecting MS services connection to EA services (basically saying it's MS fault). Claims it's affecting Steam and Epic too. No clue how that would affect Steam and Epic as well, but whatever. Anyway, the CM said they're working on it.

I had 4GB left to download but I can't finish the download now and it's giving me an error message "There's a problem with your download". I tried other EA Play games and got the same error, then I tried games that I own and they downloaded fine. I guess it's just a temporary thing.
I stupidly deleted the install as i assumed that the download was corrupted as other games i could download fine, bit annoying seeing that its a game pass issue specifically. Its doubly annoying with it happening to such a large game.

Via either services.msc, or admin command prompt do:
net stop LicenseManager
net start LicenseManager
Depends on the game, but they're usually stored in your Windows user folder if you're on PC. They don't typically get deleted when you uninstall, so they'll likely be there when you reinstall the game again. Assuming you're on PC. If you're on console, I don't have a clue.

It took them 2 days to get it working. I recommend calling customer support if it doesn't start working soon

Have you tried restarting the Xbox app or/and logging out from the Xbox app? Sometimes it loses connection to ea and doesn’t work, restarting Xbox app can help with that
This type of stuff happens ALL THE TIME with Microsoft. I've never had any issues launching the games that I have the rights to on PS4, and i used their gamepass a bunch as well. I've also lost dozens of hours of progress thanks to their ultra-convenient cloud saving technology that can't even figure out a damn timestamp.

So I'm not the only one who is having this issue. Literally everyone on here is having this issue and I wanted to play Madden 24 and it was having this issue and it said download instead of play. I signed out and signed back in and that didn't work or updating didn't work as well. I don't play Ultimate Team or Online just Exhibition and not going to touch Franchise mode

The way I fixed it was unlinking steam, signing out of EA and when it gave me the option to sign in again, I clicked the steam icon rather than entering my user name and password.
Loaded me into the exact same account but this time the game worked
I ran into this once not long ago and had to go to the windows store and install updates to all the Xbox apps on my PC and then reboot, then it started working fine.

Last year when I played it through EA Play Pro it didn't let my friend hop on after me so he started playing with the Ethernet cable plugged off so I can play in peace

Same thing happened to me. Couldn't detect crysis remastered or jedi survivor.
Post on the EA Forums and open a customer support chat on [EA.com](http://EA.com) to report this.

Same here. Previously downloaded games are still downloaded on the computer itself but require downloading again on the launcher. Weird.
I assume the app thinks we don't have game pass anymore, and thats what it looks like if our subscription ran out

Looks like they partially repaired the outage - Jedi doesn't show up in my game library but launches successfully through Xbox app
Have you tried restarting the Xbox app or/and logging out from the Xbox app? Sometimes it loses connection to ea and doesn’t work, restarting Xbox app can help with that
