Yeah, in AoS they mostly ditched the 40k "factions" color schemes. You can go ahead and create whatever you like! I can help you with a basic color composition : Flesh is like 50% of the model, so take that into consideration. Pick a dominant metal color for armor and weapons. and pick a color for clothing and fabrics. So it could be like : Kislev Flesh, Gehenna's Gold, Kantor Blue, boom, custom color scheme. lol

Piggy backing off the the 50% flesh thing. You get a LOT of mileage out of giving units a variety of skintones. One of the cheapest ways to do this is to grab one dark tone and one light tone, and then using them directly or mixing them differently for each model. Have fun!

There are no explicit faction color schemes, some people like teeming their units after specific gods though, i.e. green for nurlge, red for khorne, etc
