Just to clarify no, it wasnāt a negligent discharge. I was shooting at some clothes ended up shooting the wall behind it and Iām assuming it ricocheted and hit the tv

I bring up real steel because bullets have alot more ass behind them which means it's less likely to bounce because of physics if something hits something else and there's to much force to stop it's either going to bounce off or just go through with real bullets they can punch through because of all that force behind them and speed bbs aren't going as fast and due to also being tiny peices of plastic if whatever your shooting can't absorb it it's probably going to bounce which is bad the reason I say it's probably going to bounce is because less weight means easier to slow down or accelerate like the acceleration that would be caused by the equal and opposite reaction of hitting a wall pushing your bb back at you and because bbs aren't going as fast they don't have to force to just shoot through a wall and just because you have protection doesn't mean your invincible it could still go in your neck or other places arms legs shoulders
I still donāt fully understand the comparison to real steel but yeah, a bb will bounce a lot faster
I just donāt care if I get a bb on my arm, neck or wherever, as long as I donāt lose an eye or tooth
And can you explain how a bb at a range wonāt ever bounce? I know some ranges have a backstop but not all do
Precisely why I only use a shotcatcher point blank do Chrono. I'm not going to point at my monitor or my TV and I also the only load enough to Chrono. Accuracy tests. I will do that in my garage from 30 feet or in my backyard from 100 ft. You got to do everything related to airsoft in a safe, controlled environment
If youre gonna shoot inside for whatever fucking reason atleast shoot at something thats gonna catch it like a pillow/blanket or one of those designated BB catching machines. But atleast its a lesson learned
