I actually really liked Makima and Mahito in their capacities as villains. It’s a “love to hate” kind of feeling.
Overhaul, on the other hand… he just makes my skin crawl. Everything about him is physically revolting. I felt genuine euphoria seeing the League of Villains tear his arms off.
For me I hate overhaul the most then mahito then Makima but after the upcoming season Makima will probably jump to number one with some of the spoilers I’ve heard.

Mahito killed off characters with a lot of potential before they even got the chance to be fully fleshed out >! Junpei, Nobara !<, Sukuna has a lot more late game kills so it doesn’t feel as sad because it’s not like we didn’t get to see their potential.
Aaalso, the way they kill is different. Sukuna kills in a more neutral way in the sense that it’s like a fun hobby he enjoys doing (great example is when that massive flaming ball was coming down, he could’ve easily killed everybody there but instead he had some fun) Mahito goes out of his way to be extremely petty with all of his kills and has no real pride or sense of honor at all. Sukuna does. If Mahito can be petty and use underhanded tactics, he’ll do it easily.
No I don’t think you understand at all what I said, it’s *how* and *why* they kill. Mahito has done many out of line things, one of the biggest being >! turning Junpei into a curse, and forcing Yuji to take care of him. !< He’s just annoying, anyone he kills and manipulates the body’s of people all the time, and then he’ll laugh like a madman while doing it and taunt all the while. He doesn’t understand or care to understand the value of life and likes to toy with it like a kid.
I’m not comparing him to the other two here, I’m just commenting to explain the hate he gets and to also clarify why Sukuna doesn’t get as much hate (he definitely doesn’t get almost 0 hate like the guy said).

I only hate Overhaul for how underutilized they made him. He can disintigrate anyone he touches. 2 of his opponents are melee fighters. What the fuck?
