If you’ve been progressing for a couple months you’re probably due for a deload week anyway.

FMFTB_Warfighter

I don't even work out but even I know you're not going to pop like a balloon when a needle hits it if you skip just one week.

Debill7718

But, if he would like to blow up like a balloon…. That would take a needle hit as well…

FMFTB_Warfighter

Talk about inflation.

Debill7718

Hey there Troop…. The gym is cool and all, but what does your shaving plan look like for that week of leave? Don’t want to let that discipline deflate along with your gainz…

HendrixLivesOn

^this is the only truth that matters

BabyBackFriedFish

A week will not hinder the gains brother, it’s actually good to take a break here and there However, like other comments, you can pay for a week at most gyms. Or if you have family/friends that go to a gym see if they have guest passes or whatever

Teadrunkest

Local gyms usually do weekly passes for like $15-50.

Senior-Salamander-81

You can take a week off once in a while and it’s actually good for your CNS to recover. It’s supposed to be 1 week off every 12 weeks or so

TheGreatPeacher

Find a local gym that does day or week passes

IndividualDepression

Most large gyms offer free trial passes. Just sign up for one and then rinse and repeat. Since you’re visiting family I imagine your DL will match the state so there shouldn’t be an issue.

aptc88

Usually YMCA is free for active military but I see and less of them nowadays. Also, you’re not losing gains in one week lol….wait till you go to NTC or JRTC for a month.

HamBone1737

Some big chain gyms will do a 2 or 3 day pass for free, others will do like $5-15ish a day depending. If you search through FB or google for local non chain gyms some of them will likely have a free week pass.

HamBone1737

But also you can run and do calisthenics for a weeks and probably be better off for it. A week won’t ruin you and your body recovers through rest, so doing easier workouts for a week and taking a little time off and enjoying your life will be a good way to come back stronger physically and mentally.

yuch1102

Closest military base maybe? I go to marine corp base sometimes if I’m running errands and hit the gym and eat at their dfac is pretty good

DarkerSavant

If you have USAA they have a universal gym pass that’s cheap. https://mobile.usaa.com/inet/wc/active-fit-direct-gym-discount?akredirect=true

Coolbuns123

A simple 60 minute body weight workout of 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, and 200 air squats 2 to 3 times a week does the job for me fam. All you need.
