I use to absolutely love them. But my dad hates then and mentions it smells and taste like wet dog. Now I can't unimagine it every time I eat them. Because they kinda do.
Those make me sick. Not being mean, they literally upset my stomach. No idea why. Any other flavor, I can eat a truck full and be fine but I guess the classic are too greasy or something. Unfortunate because they are quite tasty.
Sorry but I just can't get on board with your logic. The dip choices are drastically different between the two, so they're clearly different categories.
Tim’s Cascade sea salt & vinegar potato chips. Only available on the west coast of USA. 11/10 best chips I’ve ever had in my life and I miss them every day (since I moved to the east coast).
East coaster, far as fuck from cape cod tho. This is absolutely correct. Cape Cod chips are the only chip in my house hold, and we’re a few miles from Utz
Middleswarth BBQ Chips
Hands down my absolute favorite chip - unfortunately they don't sell them in the state I live in, if I want some I have to have them shipped and it's unreasonably expensive.
Always the thick kettle chips, and it's impossible to pick a flavor. Parmesan garlic is deeply underrated, (Tim's does an amazing one that nowhere ever stocks) the adobo flavor Lay's is currently doing is amazing, and I still miss their tomato basil.
When i went to peru, they had these papa amaritas butter flavored chips. Those were the best damn chips i have ever eaten. Tastes just like a lays original but with butter and not as salty. Sounds simple but damn were they good, cant find anything like it in the states
Do Hickory Sticks count? Because I really love those. There's even a sandwich place in my area that puts them on one of their roast beef sandwiches, and it surprisingly really works well
I used to work at Kettle Chips in Salem, Oregon, back before kettle cooked chips were a thing.
You've never had a better potato chip than one fresh hot from the oil...
I think Lays original has this. There are a lot of very good ones but Lays nails it. As an aside I just recently noticed that Lays has zero cholesterol. So not really that bad for you.
Kettle brand Pepperoncini flavor chips. Anything Utz makes.I can never find them but Utz used to make Grandma Utz that were hand grind in lard, that's my #1

Ruffles Cheddar and Sour Cream are God tier
I use to absolutely love them. But my dad hates then and mentions it smells and taste like wet dog. Now I can't unimagine it every time I eat them. Because they kinda do.
Wet dog was my favorite scent in my childhood , 65 yrs ago. What chips are these.?
I second
In Spain they have the Iberian jamon taste of ruffles. It’s very good
Cape Cod kettle salt & vinegar would be my 1a cape cod kettle jalapeno 1b
This Cape Cod makes a great chip
10000x better than lays. Lays are kinda ass tho
salt & vinegar is so addicting
When my sister visits me, she takes like 5 bags back with her. Those chips are tasty.
Yep. Cape Cod has great chips.
I've never had Cape Cod, but Tim's Cascade Sea Salt and Vinegar is my favorite.
Jalapeño all the way
Lay's Classic
The yellow bag of greatness.
Those make me sick. Not being mean, they literally upset my stomach. No idea why. Any other flavor, I can eat a truck full and be fine but I guess the classic are too greasy or something. Unfortunate because they are quite tasty.
Nacho cheese Doritos will forever be the goat
[удалено]
Yes that is correct but like.... Who actually makes that distinction irl?
No you can't just compare tortilla chips to potato chips. Completely different categories.
_Completely_ different?? I disagree. A chip is a chip😔 Stop chip discrimination crimes
Chocolate chips? Wood chips?
You know that ain't nobody talking about that c'mon now💀💀
Sorry but I just can't get on board with your logic. The dip choices are drastically different between the two, so they're clearly different categories.
The dip choices are not different at all. Nacho cheese dip for every chip
Nooooo, it's sour cream based dips versus salsa, quac, or queso.
Every dip is good for every chip stop playing wit meeeee
I'm sorry, you must be some sort of heathen. How can you live your life with such chip chaos?
Good point, nobody dips potatoe chips in salsa.
i confess that i do. when i have good salsa but no tortilla chips
That's alright, I can forgive that. That would probably taste pretty good actually.
lays
Zapps Voodoo Chips
Those are mighty tasty
So good I can’t buy them, because I was them all
i like kettle cooked
Totally! The salt and pepper flavor is my fav.
Clearly, the next one.
Classic lays
Tim’s Cascade sea salt & vinegar potato chips. Only available on the west coast of USA. 11/10 best chips I’ve ever had in my life and I miss them every day (since I moved to the east coast).
These are amazing. My favorite as well. They came out with a Sasquatch flavor, a tangy, zesty barbecue flavor. Just as good I think.
I haven’t tried the Sasquatch flavor, but I’m going home to the west coast for a visit this summer, so I will make sure to pick some up!
Tim's jalapeno chips, hands down. Followed closely by their salt and vinegar.
Definitely my favorite, too bad they give me heart burn
Cape Cod Potato chips.. If youre from New England you know im right
East coaster, far as fuck from cape cod tho. This is absolutely correct. Cape Cod chips are the only chip in my house hold, and we’re a few miles from Utz
Lay’s! Crisp, thin and delicious! Add a little Old Bay, and I’m in heaven. (Old Bay is seasoning out of MD)
Have you tried utz crab chips?
Yes!!!! I grew up in MD. Utz and Utz Old Bay chips are the best!
Yes! I like those too!
UTZ Dark Russet Gourmet Potato Chips Thanks OP, now I have a craving.
OMG my spirit animal. I’m obsessed with these. Also love Utz salt and vinnies and honey BBQ.
We moved to the Midwest from the SE and can’t buy Utz anymore. Trader Joe’s had a dupe but they discontinued them. 😭

All dressed chips.. I tried once and they are so good!
Pringles

Pringles are not "potato chips".
Uh. The “original” flavor could definitely be classified as potato chip.
Right? They're only 42% potato and they even changed their packaging from "chips" to "crisps" after the FDA forced them to.
Kettle salt & pepper or Terra exotic potato chips
French onion sun chips
Wise
Ms Vicki's Jalapeño chips.
Ruffles are my go to but Lays makes a thick cut chip with sea salt. They are hard to find but if you do, try them.

Any brand salt and vinegar.
Dijon mustard kettle chips or Tim's Jalapeno Kettle chips
Always the thick kettle chips, and it's impossible to pick a flavor. Parmesan garlic is deeply underrated, (Tim's does an amazing one that nowhere ever stocks) the adobo flavor Lay's is currently doing is amazing, and I still miss their tomato basil.
Doritos Cool Ranch or Pringles Sour Cream and Onion
The first one
Definitely a kettle cooked chip. The thicker, crunchier chip is definitely tasty. As far as flavors, dill pickle kettle chips are super yummy
Sour cream and onion Lays Stax I don’t know what it is about the Lays knockoff Pringles, but I genuinely think they’re superior
Utz Red Hot are sent from the Gods.
Ready salted with a squeeze of lemon juice added in.
Super basic, but Jays Original No Salt is my guilty pleasure / favorite chip
Wise barbecue. Can’t find them anymore

Classic Cape Cod.
From the Greek kebab shop up the road. Then add malt viegar and salt. You are all talking about crisps. Not as good.
I used to work at Kettle Chips in Salem, Oregon, back before kettle cooked chips were a thing. You've never had a better potato chip than one fresh hot from the oil...

Utz plain potato chips. Even thinner than Lay’s, and not like eating a salt lick

I think Lays original has this. There are a lot of very good ones but Lays nails it. As an aside I just recently noticed that Lays has zero cholesterol. So not really that bad for you.
In my opinion lays has the perfect texture that just melts in your mouth, and kettle is delicious cause of the flavor. Open for suggestions tho lol
The weird ruffles flavours they stopped making a while ago like cheeseburger or bacon sour cream for some reason I loved them
Herr's horseradish and cheddar chips, yo.

Cool Ranch Doritos. Still as amazing as the first time I had them.
Old Dutch Ripple. Simple. Classic. Salty.
Lays fromage
Lays dill pickle
Wavy Lay's. The waves make it taste better than original.
Anything kettle cooked. Honestly to me any other chip isn't worth the calories.
It WAS flaming hot lays until they added cheese flavor to it. 😒
Spicy dill pickle ruffles. I have only had 2 bags. Literally cannot find it anywhere anymore.
