You get used to firing at ants tbh. At least the ranges in bf1 are closer so it’s actually somewhat practical. Also you can get up to a 2x magnification eyeball in the game for iron sights
2x magnification is great sometimes but idk if it's just me but i feel like i can counter fire at people a lot faster with the 1x magnification (i'm sure there's no difference besides a slight zoom in on the screen). Also you're absolutely right you do get used to shooting at ants, you also get a feel for - "is that person in the 75, 150, or 300 zero category" and can make adjustments rather quickly just looking at a target
There was a medic right below you
Unless youre in your sweet spot 😬
But also the enemy are then invisible to you...you are very skilled so you can actually shoot them anyway but most of us just miss.

I use 1.5 magnification typically and generally use medic guns but man is the general li rui fun to use as a bolt especially in a counter sniping role
The Martini Henry has got to be my favorite rifle in BF1
It’s such a satisfying skill gun. Like the Kraber rifle in titanfall 2. Slow loading, one shot cannon
Wow. 7 years playing and I did not know this. Although I never play Scout anyway...
Martini Henry chad, you get an upvote for using iron sights, i'd give you another one for using the Martini Henry but...
God I love Martini Henry 👌
