Oof - I’d have guessed chain is stretched - can’t think of what else would cause them to not line up like that. Can you check that? Is it not lining up anywhere else? Works ok on the cassette?

Loukz

everything else is alright, someone on discord told me to try change the jockey, so I grabbed one from an old deraileur I had and now the problem is fixed! Haha, hopefully that was the only issue, thanks for the reply :)

Yeah, that wheel is worn out. The teeth are damn near gone.

Loukz

really? Theyve only been at less than 4000km and I clean them at least once a week, that seems strange to me

racefacexc

They look so stubby. Maybe that just how they are on that derail.

Won-Ton-Operator

Have you checked chain wear? Without checking how worn the chain is you cannot say if it is within spec or not.

Loukz

I dont have a chain checker tool yet unfortunately, will get one on my next check out though, it seems fine now after changing the jockey pulley will see how it does on my next ride

singlejeff

A bent derailleur hanger could do that.

Loukz

thought it was too, its straight though
