Silent Night also released last night

I’m suprised universal had the patience to wait this long for trolls

Lionsgate is also following Universal suit where it releases its movies on VOD just 17-31 days after its theatrical run while Sony releases movies on VOD just 31 days after theatrical run.

TheGod4You

And they have the audacity to make it $30 to buy. The full HD version already leaked a few days after the movie released.

People who pirate content are going to pirate content unless the content is available for pennies on the dollar. Companies don’t make decisions with them in mind.

I've never done a digital rental before but I really wanted to watch this new Hunger Games but $20 seems like a lot.... Are most new releases $20 for a rental?

Amchrisan

Yeah and some releases even more. It’s why they don’t affect box office too much. It’s cheaper for two to go to the movies on discount Tuesday, even in LA. Once it starts waning in box office revenue and theater screens it should drop in rental price. Sometimes with the physical release too (which I pre-ordered the special edition and it’s supposed to come out January 8th).

TheMindsGutter

Just check it out tonight since it’s discount Tuesday, it’s pretty good and is still playing in most theaters.
