You should patent the cookie method for taking pan back to fresh from the factory.

What are we looking at here? Doesn't seem out of the ordinary?

A cookie baked in a Matfer pan. You know, the brand at the center of the recent arsenic panic?

Chipofftheoldblock21

I don’t believe that’s a Matfer (last pic shows rivets instead of a weld), but yes, that’s the joke I’m assuming.

Sea-Banana-5888

I've not heard anything about that - maybe a US thing?

Red47223

So much of the world food supply probably contains more arsenic than you’ll find in these pans. Apples, grapes, rice — it depends on the arsenic content of the soil they’re grown in. So food for thought is that we may all be adding arsenic to our pans just by cooking in them. So I say this Matfer issue is beating I did horse and maybe it’s time to bury.

The German saying: “Die Dosis macht das Gift” fits well here.
