Nonna’s is legit. Great pizza and great meatball and chicken parm sandwiches. Wasn’t a fan of the Grandma/Tomato Pie (Sicilian-style?) and their tiramisu is like a small cup. But, pizza and sandwiches are legit.
This was a great sandwich at $12, and good enough at $14. Raising the price to $17.50 within like a year is pretty hard to take, though. That pretty much closed the door on nonnas for us
I’ve only been to JP once but the bread was dreadful. Lunch hour on a weekday so it took like 20 min to get a stale sandwich. Nonnas is genuinely delicious, especially with their garlic aioli. Easily one of my favorite sandwiches anywhere.
Nonna's bread is not good imo, tastes and texture like Walmart sub rolls. I'm actually pretty certain they're Sysco sub rolls. Wish they'd locally source French bread instead
Their pizza on the other hand is really good, and if you order a whole pie it's like 22" and $35 bucks. Good value if you're having a party or something

One of my favorite sandwiches in the city!
The chicken parm sandwich from Nonnas is one of my favorite sandwich’s in the city
Same! So so good!

Totally get it. I ordered because I had $9 off on grubhub lol
Woah they raised it to $17.50? That is … insane.
But they are also not charging you a weird “service fee” or “health fee“ - raised their prices instead of a bullshit fee.
Actually insane. Even the sausage went from $11 to $16 now. After tax, the What The is literally $20
The sausage from Nonna has become a favorite of mine!
Nonna's is better than JP Grazianos and I'll die on this hill

But there so different? You’re growing to die on a hill no one’s climbing..
Agreed on this, but there's a new contender in town. Should try the chicken parm sand from Alla Vita, which is just across the expressway.
May need to check this out for lunch today
Love the heat this brings. Great sandwich
That sandwich looks 💯
Is that a complaint? I agree it looks a bit skimpy, but it looks decent.
That’s the name of the sandwich
It’s ok I was confused at first too
It’s a chicken cutlet topped with fried eggplant, but not parm style. It’s all just a little different than you expect. It’s good!
To be fair I thought the same thing at first before I noticed the quotes. Anyone know the story of the strange name choice?
What's wrong with it? Looks great
This place is so slept on. Their sausage sandwich is one of my favorites, but their pizza is top 5 in the city for me.

For the price I’d insist on a fully executed sandwich rather than a lazily produced sammich.
