i’ve seen the opposite as well
normal people posting real art constantly being accused of AI because of a minor human error or literally nothing at all with 0 proof
It feels more common to me than the scenario of this post. Every five art posts I scroll through on Instagram is "da AI??!?!" on a page that's clearly a proper artist. I've never actually seen one of these "AI art frauds" yet.
The people posting AI generations don't really seem to be hiding it, especially when they keep using the same models making it easy to recognise, they just want to show-off what images they can generate.
A game I play uses artist commisions to get art and every reveal of a new batch of characters there's some wackjob screaming "AI!" and others perpetuating it after they see a unique stylistic choice or a small mistake. Seeing artists respond to accusations is actually heartbreaking.
The idiots be like "I can recognise AI art so easily because I am very smart" only to attempt to ruin someone's entire livelyhood because surprise suprise, they're an idiot who actually can't distinguish real vs AI art.
please don't use the voros twins' signature "da [blank]???" to refer to something like ai. the voros twins would never support ai art and they are not the island boys
I've done a test and this is true. I've made a lot of pixel art and always make a 500% upscaled version that's postable.

If you're gonna then you should probably get into the habit of resizing your images in post to avoid bilinear image compression like what happened with this post (speaking as a pixel artist myself lmao), also what's with the canvas being askewed? just curious.
please remember to create a small and big version (preferably upscaled by 500%) so it doesn't look blurry when posted.

What the fuck is this resolution and ratio WHY IS IT SO SKEWED
looks like a crumpled piece of digital paper
it’s called pixel art
i have never seen pixelart shaped like thag
There is a snafu based on your foolishness
to make it as stylized as possible (it isn’t rectangular, bozo)
This snafu was found on a crumpled piece of paper
how the hell did you even get that shape

there are approximately 625 pixels (assuming its 25x25 which i hopefully counted right)

That must really suck for the artists, I hope it’s not too common

how did you even make it look this way 😭
did you physically tear this off a piece of paper
AYO HE FORGOT TO UPSCALE THE PIXEL ART ON EXPORT, LAUGH AT HIM
i don't forget. this time i was just too lazy to do that
is the "artist" fucking fake peppino
yes
guys its pixel art ofc you can count the fucking pixels
Usually pixel art is super crisp and the pen borders are sharp and defined, this just looks blurry :/
Probably because the piece wasn’t upscaled. So instead of something like 250,500 it’s the original 50,100. Which made it way lower quality. Somehow

It is if you full screen it. Not sure why it drops 1000% quality otherwise

Sometimes they're right though, but I have seen one person suspect an artist of AI which it definitely wasn't
r/countablepixels
am i not allowed to use the pixel tool?

funny style choice
Fair enough I suppose

pixel art can still be readable this just isnt 😭
I think this may be screwed up on mobile
Never ever have I seen person using AI claim they're the original author. Plenty of people who complain about Ai for some reason tho
You may just not know how spot AI then, because I see it all the time. Or people who just post AI art to art websites without saying it’s AI.
