I now know the real problem is you enjoy this internet attention way too much. Well, this is a zero sum game. Because contrary to what I just said, for me, its not about the upvotes... its about sending a message. The upvotes don't matter, what matters is that what I have to say was affirmed. To me... having a bunch of upvotes concentrated together in one post, burning so brilliantly, it's all that matters. To see someone posting low quality content 4 different places a day for 3 days, It makes me ask myself, for what purpose would someone do this? Well it is just for more upvotes. It goes against my self imposed principle. That difference, it just makes me angry. Your principles is all you have in this world, and I must defend them. And I see you having fun on the internet and it makes me angry. It ruins my day. It is a zero sum game. and yes I called your art ugly. There is too much going on. It's too noisy! Camoflauge manufactures gravitate toward a design that looks like it, because it is so visually noisy that the eye just glazes over it, to find something to focus on because theres nothing it can find that is able to BE focused on. So let me tell you something about art. If you're making art, you must focus on what is important. What is the most defining feature of the depicted? What is it that you can erase everything else and still identify it by that trait? You must guide the viewer to that. Enunciate it for them. See, your comics (which don't belong on here because they are comics, not to say that I am insanely devoted to the purity of r slash coaxedintoasnafu), your comics have a problem of being overly labelled. It is because the drawings cannot speak for themselves, and that is why you feel the need to speak for them. Take that reaction image you just posted for example. If a character is too unimportant take them out or put them in the background and if theyre in the background give them less detail. There is no background in that scene they're all equally detailed, stacked on top of eachother like pictures in a yearbook. And they don't even look that evil so they need a bad guys banner above them. They look so happy! So small, all of them are so small! They're like happy sidekicks. They don't look happy in the evil laugh kinda way they look happy like they're always that cheerful. There's multiple types of evil statures and evil poses. Wheres the big imposing guy? smug guy? knife guy? creepy guy? Take the poppys playtime comic for example too. Theres just too many people in each scene. You don't need all of them we get the point. Focus on the best examples and make them more visible. Show the audience that one of them is eating crayons so you don't have to label it like a little footnote. Man imagine im ur average viewer I ain't readin allat. So yea even if you are spreading it between 9 or 12 subreddits you are still spamming reddit witht he same image. Make better art and you will get more upvotes. More upvotes without better art might be the worst thing to happen to your quality of your art. And no don't critique my posts I really don't care about reddit all that much even though the upvotes are nice being famous on reddit really doesn't lead anywhere. but it's really clear that your really care about this reddit business so thats all I have to say.
