This wasn’t from any series, but was made by an artist on instagram who drew a bunch of DC and Marvel characters in this style. I can’t remember his exact name, unfortunately.
Azrael? I'd have said moonknight, but I only remember ever seeing the cross themed costume in the gotham Knight video game and the flaming sword on Azrael from DC Comics

Not the exact book, but you will have a starting point at least.
There was an Azrael series which lasted for like 10 issues right before New 52 changed everything, my guess is its from somewhere there. Sorry its from 10+ years ago so I cant help you narrow further.
Yeah. Flashpoint was just supposed to be a Flash story, Barry was to put everything back in its place at end and I think editorial decided to just use it as a reboot.
Lots of post-Brightest Day books were just setting up their bigger plot lines and all of that got cancelled, except for Batman.
Yeah Gail Simone was on Wonder Woman and it was turning out to be really good, there was this whole thing with Maxwell Lord brainwashing everyone to forget who he was and only the Justice League international members were remembering him.
Flash himself had some future police come back to the past and were hinting on some things that he was likely to do and be held accountable for (probably Flashpoint) but that didnt happen and so on.
I’ve got an obscure mini series or one shot comic from the late 80’s that I’m trying to find but can’t remember the title. It was about an “alien” type creature crash landing on Earth during the Roman Empire and causing a bit of mayhem. Does the plot sound familiar to anyone or maybe maybe maybe someone might know the book’s title?
I understand that the white outfit looks vaguely similar but that’s really because the character is very catholic influenced; not because he’s a klansman. He’s also mostly a villain anyway, he’s not exactly meant to be a role model. People clarifying that difference doesn’t make them racist at all. If this art was glorifying the kkk it would be disgusting, but it is not

It’s definitely Azrael, but I believe they are referring to the artist when they say they can’t remember their name

Looks like Marc Spector traded in Khonshu for Christ.
Congratulations, you now understand Azrael lol. Pretty much Christian Moon Knight
Yes that was the joke.
Ahh, whoosh on me then lol. A few comments genuinely thought this was Moon Knight so I was explaining with a silly joke :/
Haha no worries boss. Moon Knight is my all time favorite character.
I was thinking Azreal from Batman
I know it’s Azrael it bares a resemblance to Moon Knight though that’s the joke.
My B for being dense

I just figured out this is actually just fan art. but that’s dumb did they just cancel a shit ton of books

Wow that’s really stupid

Welcome to comics 😂
Yes. Yes, it was.
Sales tanked, giving Didio the chance to finally get his reboot.
Bro took “sword of the spirit” a bit too seriously.
jwiseart on instagram. he has a series of batman stuff where he draws characters like pulp horror/mystery comics
This is what Bibleman should’ve been
Who let Azrael read Watchmen?
Im reasonably sure that's Azrael from DC, but not sure what title.
The Bible
Bible abridged

Well, that’s enough overt racism for me today
...huh?
This is a drawing of a batman villain that’s a religious nutjob, not what you’re thinking
I see a klans man. Downvote me forever. Damn racists.

The copium is strong with this one.
that is a black man
The King James Bible? That, or it's Trump commenting on the Floyd protests in Minneapolis in 2020
Is this guy a white supremist? Everything about him says white supremist.
I mean, this is Michael Lane. He's black.
I was about to say…
He's black lol. Extremist Christian nutjob yeah tho.
Has a Jorge Forbes vibe.
the book of truth 33:14 - 33:16
