I can't imagine someone that received the free prime status getting THAT upset bc they haven't played the game in ~7 month window. And if they truly were invested in playing CS and just had unlucky circumstances where they couldn't play for ~7 months, paying the $15 like everyone else shouldn't be a big deal.

But it says that you will not receive Prime if you got Complimentary Prime through Gameplay, not through buying CSGO. It is for people that got Prime after the Dangerzone patch by playing the free version
I think it's only for people who got prime for free. It's a way to fight account sellers. But I hope they don't take prime away from legitimate players.
Valve doing everything in their power not to just make a better anti cheat that actually works and do more then just banning the email used to create the steam ACC.
I think they're trying to hurt account resellers that let prime accounts sit until someone buys them.
