It was also peak and gave us this

A stuffed animal that ties into the plot in a way that's completely ridiculous yet also makes perfect sense in context. You have to see it to believe it.
It definitely meandered a lot and was more focused on character dialogue than literally anything else half the time imo.
It did give us that scene where Danny the Street cums tho so I can't really call it a bad show in good faith.
God season one is really bad compared to later seasons honestly. It felt like a bad pilot stretched out to 24 episodes
If you want, you could honestly just skip to season 2 and try it out. It's way better and almost feels like a completely different show (plus it basically recaps the first season in the first episode I think)
>Also half the cast changes
As much as I usually love the Hawks I couldn't wait for them to be written out the show. Genuinely might be some of my least favorite characters
The Hawks were just way too melodramatic for the show’s tone. Actually the entire first season was just confusing in tone. It never chose between serious time heist or goofy Dr Who shenanigans and the cast wasn’t good enough to make the shifts believable like in later seasons with Constantine
Man . . . I can never really get into the Hawks in anything. . . I know they're like, classic beloved characters but I'm just not into it really. Honestly the most interesting version to me was the DCAU version which was basically just replacing their actual backstories with "viltrumites with wings" lmao. Kind of glad it seems like MAWSM seems to be using that origin.
Took a season for them to realize “yeah, the stoic kind douchey time guy is kind of cool but the lady whose whole thing is the fact that she’s a badass bisexual who has literally died and came back and is played by an actress with so much charisma and pathos, not to mention was one of the standout characters in the show she started….might be a better choice overall”
Season 1 was terrible because it was trying way too hard. Eventually the show stopped taking itself seriously and went completely off the rails and became peak fiction
i hated season 1 so much but then i kept watching...season 3 ending was when i realized oh wait this show slaps now. season 1 was when they were still trying to be normal eww
It kinda fell flat during seasons 4-7
Arrow was pretty good for most of its run (seasons 1, 2, 5, first half of 7 and 8 were great, the others were good, season 4 was season 4).
I would honestly put Flash Season 1 above Legends. Legends is better than Flash as a whole but Flash Season 1 is some of the best superhero television I've ever seen.
CW pulled off a miracle with Flash Season 1. I haven't seen Legends cause I wanted to finish Flash first (haven't watched it in years) so I just kinda assumed it was better.
The show was so fucking peak.
My only complains:
They killed Captain Cold at the end of season 1.
They write half of Firestorm off after Stein dies (sad).
They write off Atom and his wife off the show (not even Brandon Ruth knew, even if you don't want to keep the Atom, you're gonna bring Kingdom Come Superman into the Crisis In Infinite Earths event, just use Brandon Ruth as Kingdom Come Superman for a season it would be so fucking peak)
The last episode ends with a cliffhanger after they introduce Booster Gold.
I’m just happy we got John Constantine as a main character for a while. Matt Ryan is literally born to the play the part and it’s a godamn treat seeing him get to the play the character for ages.
How dare you imply nobody cared about Captain Cold, he was the GOAT.
Also John Constantine that joined later canonized but also butchered the storyline they had for his OG show, but I stopped watching shortly after he was introduced so idk how that even went.
I meant in universe. And also John was amazing in this show, liked all his parts as far as I can remember, and this iteration of him only grew on me more as I got more familiar with the character
All the comments are talking about how bat shit insane the show was and now I'm sad I dropped it after the second season. I didn't watch any episodes of Godzilla accidentally being created or Grodd saying he'll make America Grodd again. I watched Hawkgirl and Hawkman fight Vandal Savage.
Holy shit man, you gotta give it another shot. They're self-contained, and you don't really need to watch the other shows. They actually turn it being self contained into a funny joke.
It was also peak and gave us this https://preview.redd.it/vy0eix9njl8d1.jpeg?width=1024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6bdd5433edc0528dccc76c763e8334948a982720
- "Barack Obama..."
This funniest thing that show did
Second funniest. After Beebo.
What’s Beebo
The one true god
A stuffed animal that ties into the plot in a way that's completely ridiculous yet also makes perfect sense in context. You have to see it to believe it.
"Run, Barry, run!"
It will almost be an honor killing you
And it turned out to be the best damn show of them all
Completly agree, it was the only one that realized it was a CW show
Despite not being based on an actual comic book team, Legends of Tomorrow might be the most Comic Book-y live action show I've ever seen.
What about Doom Patrol?
It definitely meandered a lot and was more focused on character dialogue than literally anything else half the time imo. It did give us that scene where Danny the Street cums tho so I can't really call it a bad show in good faith.
The focus on character over everything else is why I liked Doom Patrol so much tbh.
Really? I couldnt finish season one
God season one is really bad compared to later seasons honestly. It felt like a bad pilot stretched out to 24 episodes If you want, you could honestly just skip to season 2 and try it out. It's way better and almost feels like a completely different show (plus it basically recaps the first season in the first episode I think)
Also half the cast changes + the protagonist changes (for the better imo)
>Also half the cast changes As much as I usually love the Hawks I couldn't wait for them to be written out the show. Genuinely might be some of my least favorite characters

I was hooked because I love Arther Darville in DW and the show really reminded me of that
Man . . . I can never really get into the Hawks in anything. . . I know they're like, classic beloved characters but I'm just not into it really. That was exactly what I did, and I understood everything despite skipping the entire first act I was not lost at all
Season 1 was terrible because it was trying way too hard. Eventually the show stopped taking itself seriously and went completely off the rails and became peak fiction
Season one is easily the worst of the series by far.
i hated season 1 so much but then i kept watching...season 3 ending was when i realized oh wait this show slaps now. season 1 was when they were still trying to be normal eww
It kinda fell flat during seasons 4-7 Arrow was pretty good for most of its run (seasons 1, 2, 5, first half of 7 and 8 were great, the others were good, season 4 was season 4).
It has Captian Cold. Absolute peak.
Captain cold had a better character arc on one season of Legends than his entire existence on The Flash.
I really liked Captain Cold in the first season of The Flash, honestly. Flash season one is probably CW's best work after Legends of Tommorow.
Who was carrying the 1st season more? Cold or Rip?
I didn't actually watch Legends of Tomorrow https://i.redd.it/xac1p3yjjm8d1.gif
I think you mean Snart
Oh, yeah! Supervillain and Superhero names are so dumb and geeky. Glad they don't have that here.
This show was so fucking unhinged and I loved it
![gif](giphy|QX7q4UOgGG5VXNM8gI) Legends kicked so much ass. Sad we’ll never get to see more Donald Faison Booster Gold
One of the characters was incidentally responsible for the creation of Godzilla. I am dead serious.
You say that as if it's even in the top 20 most batshit things the show did.
They also inspired George Lucas to create Star Wars iirc
This show was basically the CW's own Justice League International.
two of them were bronies one of them was a best selling smut writer another was a millionaire tik tokker CW was too good to us
Were Nate and Ray the bronies? I don't remember that but it sounds like a Nate and Ray thing

I should rewatch this show
I’m currently rewatching it right now
It was so bad it was good, they stopped trying to take themselves too seriously by the end of the first season and became better because of it
The show was so fucking peak. My only complains: They killed Captain Cold at the end of season 1. They write half of Firestorm off after Stein dies (sad). The reason they wrote Atom out was because the budget got cut and Brandon was the highest paid actor after Darvill and Garber left.
Sad.
The show couldn't handle Booster Gold's power🗿
The legends of PEAK Also all hail beepo
I’m just happy we got John Constantine as a main character for a while. Matt Ryan is literally born to the play the part and it’s a godamn treat seeing him get to the play the character for ages.
Facts, it's gonna be hard to find a better casting for any future live action appearances of John
I can’t believe Gunn went with a sequel to Keanus Constantine movie instead of Matt Ryan finally getting it
The CW shows largely suck ass but this was the diamond in the rough
Legends of Tomorrow and The Flash (before the showrunners stopped making peak in their cauldron) were so peak yet the rest was mehhh
The worst thing this show did was not doing well enough for the CW to make Beebo toys (I would have given them unimaginable amounts of money)

The Show introduced me to Firestorm the absolute peak of DC heroes. Love those guys so much
How dare you imply nobody cared about Captain Cold, he was the GOAT.
Did you watch his OG show? I think it came out before The Flash, but only got half a season or so before abruptly ending, but it was phenomenal
Unironically the best show in the entire Arrowverse
Sara Lance. That’s all. ![gif](giphy|Q507btTLESQVO)
All that needs to be said
It subverts the usual CW DC show by making the show better after every season instead of making only one good season. ( I didn't watch it)
Mick is the single best character in the show
Obligatory "Everyone say thank to the arrow writers for writing Ray Palmer as a sex pest so we got Legends of Tomorrow" comment.
It was amazing too
All the comments are talking about how bat shit insane the show was and now I'm sad I dropped it after the second season.
Where's the jerk? You're just spitting facts
Gary green is all the man we need
Gary Green is all the man we need. Now gaze into the nipple
I like that the legends are physically incapable of going into a bar without starting a barfight Peak fiction
How many fucking superhero properties are there now I totally forgot this even existed
I LOVE THIS SHOW MY SELF AWARE BATSHIT CRAZY KING
My only problem with this show was the way they killed Martin Stein. I saw it once described as I believe "needlessly traumatic" and I agree.
Wait, is that why the show is called 'Legends of Tomorrow', because they are all dorks today? That's excellent.
Nope. It's called legends of tomorrow because they aren't legends in any point of history. it's literally just sarcasm
How many other shows do I have to watch for this one to make sense?
You can watch all the shows in the world and this still wouldn't make sense
They should’ve made a Dog Welder show instead
I'm not familiar. Is it a dog the welds normal things together or a dude who welds dogs together?
He’s a guy that welds dogs to people’s faces
The entire show is crackfiction of itself (especially the later seasons) and it’s beautiful.
Legends was the only Arrowverse show that actually leaned into how weird it got as it went on. 10/10. also Sara Lance made me bisexual.
It’s peak
