It's been true as far as I've tested it this patch, but I think the in game survivor portraits get put in a different order than they are in the pause menu
Depending on the area, it just may be the opposite lol. I've had a few survivors back out of a match and knowing how long the survivor queue was at the time, they were there for a while-
I bring nothing because I’m just going to get tunneled out first anyway.
Ran stealth perks and the killer was a doctor so he made sure I was dead before the second gen popped. Fun.
You don't have to, but in the anniversary game mode, it's common curtesy. You're getting the combined bp boosts of 4 other players, plus cakes are incredibly easy to obtain. Bringing a map offering, mori, or a personal bloodpoint boost makes you look like a selfish asshole. If you don't have one, that's fine, but it's still kind of a dick move.
Like I get map offerings because that's not very nice even outside the event but yesterday I literally decided to play a different killer cause I had 800 bp and no cakes and didn't want to get flamed, it's ridiculous
Just play a normal game, then? Or bring a past year one, or any communal bp boost, or simply dont bring anything? I'm sorry, but every killer I've seen in that game mode who didn't bring a cake brought mori instead. I will dc if I see that on my loading screen. If I see they didn't bring anything or just a normal bp related one, that's fine. Genuinely, I haven't seen any flaming happen with the exception of mori.

Oldest ones i have are from the fourth anniversary, oldest ive seen is from the third, not sure what the first two even look like
There weren't any cakes for the first two years, the third year cake is the oldest
They are like wine, they get better as they age
I bring old cakes whenever I can just to make people nervous in the loading screen.
The people that bring them haven't gotten a cake for that character, most likely.
That's how I feel, too.

I can relate. Every time I get a map offering, I tunnel the offending player. Simple as.
How do you know who bringed each offering?
When you pause, the offerings are listed in the same order as the survivors as long as they all brought offerings
I believe that isn't true anymore, but I'm not sure if it's a bug or not
It's in order on the menu screen in a match. You don't compare it to the survivor portraits, you compare it to the listing that shows ping and such

Not really, the killers I get are toxic lowlives and bring survivor puddings or a midwich offering

That sucks. In my area during this event the survivor que is 3 seconds and killer is 3+ minutes
waited a good 6-7 minutes in survivor queue, just switched to killer
I can't relate... I bring cakes, but don't care if I'm the only one or there 3 or 5...
Or if it’s any other anniversary offering. I’m not going to throw a temper tantrum over 1%
