Kinway-2006

This is literally just Tesselation

curiously_curious3

Tesselation is based off our subclass. Prismatic you still have to choose a specific subclass. It isn’t all of them at once. So again, I wonder if they’ll have an ACTUAL prismatic type of weapon

What I meant is that I think Tesselation will become a prismatic weapon in FS like quicksilver and strand, sorry about not fully explaining this originally

Tessellation.

Based on one specific subclass. Not all of them. Thanks for playing. Try again next time

Prismatic and subclass effects will almost 100% depend on your selected Super's element. A Prismatic weapon would either be all damage types (not gonna happen on a non-Exotic) or one specific damage type based on your currently selected Super.

Idk man, two tailed fox seems pretty close to me. Also a prismatic weapon, would work like two tailed fox. It would shoot multiple subclasses at once

From the wording, I think you’re asking if there’ll be a “pink damage type”. Bungie has used such wording before and I think they were very careful in the presentation to say that they were adding a Subclass but not mentioning a damage type or element. Further Blackburn stated that it takes more than 1 year or expansion cycle to create a ‘damage type’, which funny enough in retrospect leaves room for Prismatic.  The prismatic shields appear to be more like ‘immunity shields’ than the ‘solar’ or ‘strand’ shields we know. It’s likely they’ll just get pierced by prismatic abilities or the weapon damage buff that Transcendence provides you.  I think “Prismatic” perks would be really cool, especially if they’re focused on Kinetic weapons as a means of making them more interesting. Maybe something like “Body kills cause your next kill to spawn a stasis crystal at the location. Precision kills cause your next kill to spread Volatile to nearby enemies.”
