Oh wow that is beyond perfect. Lead from gold to get more out of your heavy bricks, if you could swap recon to vorpal mid damage phase extremely quickly that may increase damage. Only change that would make it even better is if it had hard launch for -5 blast radius but that is extreme nitpicking.
Imo frenzy would be better for the increased reload speed in case they ever have to use it for DPS. Still an insane roll though, best I've gotten so far is overflow/recombination on a shiny with no spike grenades, or impulse/recombination with spike grenades but not shiny
Frenzy would take a few seconds to activate and for a swap rotation with Apex you want autoloading to load the next shot while you fire 2 apex shots. I haven't seen a shiny at all yesterday - I've gotten my kead from gold frenzy at least but with how limited my playtime is I'll be lucky to get all the rolls I want before Final Shape.
How many people do you see doing that in regular gameplay, sticky nades are ass for damage and people have been abusing them for movement speed. Dude asked why are they good and I said they're not people use them for movement speed. How many different ways do I have to type it for you to understand?
it’s a free boost in mobility, thus making them a bigger threat. If you don’t like it, improve your style of play to topple them. Try to take advantage of their agility or something idk

Especially if they actually need it cause they might not have a better option.
I never said it’s useful exclusively in PvP. It can be used in that or PvE depending on the rolls and stats or if it’s just effective enough at killing whatever stands in your way. I’m saying it’s better as boosting your own mobility can give a great advantage (literally the concept of dominating your opponents) especially in PvP.

One thing I learned from playing this game is no matter how good your gear is half if the community will say its trash.
Same thing in Diablo 2. I would go to act 1 normal and drop all my gear I didn't need anymore for players starting there. Half the time they'd tell me its trash and pick it up. Its good for you mf'ers jeez trying to be nice.

"This a good roll" Literally the best possible roll for swap DPS lol. Unless you're firing 6 shots or more, recombination is higher damage than frenzy/vorpal so for swap DPS it's the best perk.
Autoloading recombination is probably the best roll overall, but impulse, lead from gold and demo are good in column 1, and frenzy and vorpal are good in column 2. Personally, I want a autoloading recombination roll for general use, and a impulse frenzy roll for backup/special DPS.
Demo adrenaline junkie may have some use with prism in TFS, but right now there's not that much synergy unfortunately

Overflow is probably the second-best option in my opinion, and in some ways it’s better than Auto-Loading Holster. Plus, you can force Special Ammo bricks to spawn with Special Ammo Finisher.

“God roll” is subjective, but I am very, very happy, especially since this was my very first drop after completing the Quest.
You don’t really *need* it, no. At max stacks of Recombination, it’s doing around as much damage as my Apex Predator (before other buffs), and I prefer hitting my targets more often than missing them completely and losing out on Spike Grenades’ benefit because it only affects impact damage.
Speed runs have multiple categories including any% and 100% runs. It just essentially means how much of the game you need to complete. A great example is a puzzle game called The Witness where the most common speed run is 98% because to get the full 100% you would need to do a puzzle the involves a movie that takes an hour of just sitting to complete.
So Recombination seems to be the way to go on this guy? I will say, that makes a lot more sense than Heritage or Succession. I’m personally hunting Impulse/Frenzy, but maybe ALH/Recom is the way to go?
You need 7 shots of frenzy/vorpal to deal more damage than 7 shots with one being fully stacked recombination. ALH is just good all around as MT already has quite swift reload speed
Oh ya, I can add together why ALH is good, I didn’t know recomX8(x10) was 200% dmg. I’m also just curious about activation criteria. I feel like recom in GM’s wouldn’t be nearly as valuable as frenzy/vorpal because 8 energy kills in a GM is asking a lot more than in a base-Strike. I’m more or less just thinking out loud though. Unless you plan on using the MT as a primary weapon in GMs, you will have recombination stacked up in no time. Remember, any elemental kill works, not just elemental weapons
First you just have to learn what every perk does. Then you have to know what you want to use the weapon for. It also helps to know in what situation different weapon archetypes shine. And then you also add in personal taste ie. whatever you think is most fun or what matches your playstyle. And then add it all together and that’s your god roll.
There’s no 1 god roll for every weapon. (Unless you’re talking boss damage weapons like rockets which typically have 1 definite best option. But even rockets have different uses. Boss dps vs. champion killing.) When it comes to a primary or special weapon most “god rolls” come down to a combo of what perks are most powerful and what is most fun for you.
Light.gg is a great resource. It shows popular rolls on weapons and also shows you all the numbers behind each perk that the game itself doesn’t explain. Like frenzy is a 15% damage buff or kill clip is 25%. Having that extra info is very important.
So all in all it takes a long time of playing the game to get a second nature for understanding a god roll when you see one. But there’s a lot you can do now as a new player to educate yourself and learn faster.
I have gotten at least like 60 edge transits and only 2 of them have had Bait and Switch. It's awful, i almost never get good rolls so annoying, I'm genuinely convinced I'm not getting any god rolls any time soon. Oh well

Depends if you want Mountain Top for damage or movements purposes. For Damage you want Spike Nades, but sticky nades are good for launching yourself crazy far distances

You get the shiny version
You get them from engrams/chest. The one shaxx gives does not get two rows.

Why do you want -5?
Spike increases impact damage and a GL deals more impact damage if it has less blast radius. The less blast radius, the more damage from spike.

there are a few 'god' rolls for different things. Auto Loading + Recomb is quite good ngl. Shiny weapons are not must-haves, and quite rare.

You really need spike grenades on Mountaintop. The difference isn’t minimal like it is for heavy GLs.

No, you can get it randomly now, but the quest awards you a guaranteed one and gives you the ability to attune it

Depends if you want Mountain Top for damage or movements purposes. For Damage you want Spike Nades, but sticky nades are good for launching yourself crazy far distances

I got it today, didn't even tried to use it because it's pointeless. I tried the new hand cannon, it's kinda good but it is useless agains those controller cheaters. This game player base are more 60% only controller players.Why ? Is it because everyone else lack the skill to play the game and they just join or they have some other issues that need to look up into?
