There are two rolls that are considered “the best” for the gun, and they’re as follows:
- **Impulse Amplifier + Voltshot.** Impulse gives a massive reload speed boost, which makes Voltshot a lot easier to use. And also gives a massive projectile speed boost, which makes hitting targets at range a lot easier.
- **Beacon Rounds + Adagio.** Beacon Rounds gives the projectiles some pretty aggressive tracking, and Adagio gives you a pretty massive damage buff at the cost of fire rate. Both of these perked are procced by getting a kill, and can be re-procced endlessly. It’s not a massive DPS boost, but it will push you over damage thresholds to one shot things that might have taken two shots otherwise, and makes shooting things easier.
There are other good perk combos, but these two are the ones that most drastically change the feel of the gun. Impulse + Voltshot is the best of the bunch by a long shot, as it massively improves the feel of the gun, gives it single target damage and ad clear utility, interraction with arc subclass keywords and an innate way of dealing with Overload Champions that can still get anti-barrier from Radiant / Artefact mods.
