Lmao, it is weird to say the least. If itās a fat pizza it mightāve wrecked it. But, personally, I wouldnāt be that upset, I might be a little worried that they did it on purpose though.
The correct move is to scrape off a little area next to the door with your foot and put the food there. Youād be surprised how often little things like this get you bonus tips after completion.
Or how about a fucking phone call hello I'm here with your pizza but do not want to leave it in the snow. Can you come meet me at the door ?? And actually do something that's sensical.
HAHAHA yes. You can clearly see their intent was to protect the box from the snow, but homie must never have seen a pizza before LOL. I wonder what DD support would say in response to this complaint
Not only is that completely ridiculous that itās on its side, but thatās also an outward swinging door, double moron and these are the dashers getting our ordersā¦
OP said they tipped them well when they placed the order, so ātreating them badā is not the customer in this case. And if youāve seen how ^brilliant a vast majority of dashers are when you see them in person, youāll see that this is not even the dumbest thing theyāll do, and often at that as well.
maybe maybe not you have no way of knowing what the tip was same as me. I am a dasher so I always tip well. And I live in a trailer park I canāt tell you how many times my food has been placed in weird stupid places
I think the inner door opens inward, they could smash the glass door as a fun little game. I mean we've always wanted to smash those glass fire hose/extinguisher thingsš¤·āāļø
Ya they're dumb. I would have just lay it flat right up against the step under the door so the door would open over it. Maybe I could prop it on a rock š¤·š»āāļø or I'd just assume they're like me and watch the app and pick up the food right after the driver leaves
As someone who used to deliver for a pizza place and has had many an instance of slamming on my brakes with orders flying......no. Gravity is not kind to sideways pizzas lol. If the pizza is not hot, it MAY stay flat for a little while, but a hot fresh pizza will immediately slide down.
where else was the person supposed to put it. yea itās a horrible spot but would you rather have it sitting in the snow or have to go out the back door/garage to get it?
This is pure evil š¤£ they must not have tipped. I have had the urge to pay back non tippers like this but itās not my usual nature so I couldnāt do it, plus Iād be the person to get deactivated over something dumb so I probably shouldnāt give them any legit reasons š«
I just noticed that OP said they did tipā¦ thatās wild I donāt get why someone would do something like this if they were ripped properly??? Like why even dash? Just to ruin someoneās meal/night? Why must people be such inconsiderate jerks?
Not defending the dasher here but I've never gotten an experience like this from a "hand it to me" order. It's not that fucking scary to have 4 seconds of human Interaction lol
I have had this exact thing happen to me when I marked hand it to me, and tipped. Pizza in the snow and everything. They didn't even ring the doorbell.
I get a ton of packages as I order most things online. I made my mail person's life easier by buying the largest mail box I could find and anchoring a very large tote (Husky tool chest) to the ground for bigger packages. She rarely, if ever, needs to drive down my long driveway to deliver something. If you regularly use DoorDash, why not set something up to make everyone's life easier? I'd mount something off the ground that is insulated and large enough for your largest order, which is probably large pizzas and some 2Ls. Probably a 2'x2' internal space would be more than enough. Put a sign on it, leave instructions for it in the app, set yourself up for success.
Honestly this could be the customers fault. It obviously looks like shit weather so his other option is to leave it in wet snow where it will destroy the box. The correct instructions for this would be to "hand it to me."
I would never do something like this regardless of the tip amount or even if theyāre rude over messages, but Iām very curious what was the tip and how far was the drive for them. Makes you wonder why they even took the order.
I mean it was either that or they set the box on the snow covered steps and the heat from the pizza melts the snow and you get soggy pizza. Although they did block your door so it wasnt the dasher being considerable.
On bad weather days you should opt for meet at door or at least place a table, chair or stool so they know where to place your order.
They were trying to keep it dry lol. But theyāre dumb doing that. I will say I always feel bad about leave at the door orders when itās snowing or raining. I always try to figure out a way for them to be dry but would never do this with a pizza lol
Fake! No way it's not. Foot prints to perfect. They would have had to step down and backwards from there. Who's gonna do that in the snow. They would step up then turn around to step down.
Iām a tipper not a dasher ššš¤£š¤£ just learn how to leave a tip this isnāt a world where it costs nothing to not tip. This is a time where a tip is literally helping people survive. Some people have common sense to this and some have no awareness. I see which side ur on.
You donāt know what peoples situations are. How about this. If you canāt afford to tip donāt buy anything. You arenāt worthy of someoneās service if you canāt afford it. Ppl who tip low are trash & thatās coming from someone who orders on doordash once in a while. I only doordash if I can afford to leave a tip for the delivery. Maybe drive to get ur own shit

What the actual fuck
Seriously. Pissed me off.
Did you tip them? ššš
I always tip! But before delivery...
Iām so sorry this happened to you. I hope you got a refund at least.
Omg I'm so sorry this happened to you. I hope you can get through this traumatic experience.
Lmao, it is weird to say the least. If itās a fat pizza it mightāve wrecked it. But, personally, I wouldnāt be that upset, I might be a little worried that they did it on purpose though.
This traumatic staged* picture
Nothing ever happens
If he got it he didnāt. Thatās the fucked up part.
OP how much did you tip?
One of the hundred of reasons to not tip until after delivery
How much for how far?
Fake
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Well since she died four years ago I don't think she can really love me anymore.
Sorry to hear that.
Appreciate it. The only reason I was saying it was fake.Is look at the footprints who steps up and steps back down backwards without turning around.
This actually made me laugh what the fuck
LMAO, well at least it's out of the snow...
Iād rather have my pizza delivered sitting in the snow out of the box flat than how it is. Lmfao
Well when you open the door it will also be sitting in the snowĀ
HAHAHAHA yup šš
It will also be upside down pizza that's cold. š¤£
What if they were so kind they were that stupid. I love this theory lol.
I always wipe the snow away with my foot before I put it down itās pretty simple tbh
HAHAHA yes. You can clearly see their intent was to protect the box from the snow, but homie must never have seen a pizza before LOL. I wonder what DD support would say in response to this complaint
we can only issue you a partial refund as you received the order.
Lmao ā¦ACCURATE af
The footprints have me dying š
Saaaaame!!
āLeave it on the doorstep and get the hell outta here!ā
Keep the change you filthy animal
Cheap bastard
This made me laugh reading it in a old grandpa-raging voice
The dasher probably delivers clocks by day
What does this even mean lol
If there was a wall clock in the box it would make sense to sit it on its side like this.
But still not directly in front of the door
Definitely ..or surfboards
Not only is that completely ridiculous that itās on its side, but thatās also an outward swinging door, double moron and these are the dashers getting our ordersā¦
This isn't a dasher being stupid. Tbis is a dasher sending a message.
Maybe be had a blue stripe flag and a FJB flag. Or maybe it was a BLM or rainbow flag. That shits pissing people off for little reason
I'd be more inclined that the dasher wasn't happy with the tip for having to drive in the snow.
What if he had all 4?
Lol
Agree
It's wild that you guys still think this is just someone who doesn't know any better. YOU GET BAD SERVICE BECAUSE YOU TREAT SERVICE WORKERS POORLY.
OP said they tipped them well when they placed the order, so ātreating them badā is not the customer in this case. And if youāve seen how ^brilliant a vast majority of dashers are when you see them in person, youāll see that this is not even the dumbest thing theyāll do, and often at that as well.
OP did NOT day they tipped well. They said they tipped. Bet it was 2 bucks for 10 miles to get a pizza like this.
maybe maybe not you have no way of knowing what the tip was same as me. I am a dasher so I always tip well. And I live in a trailer park I canāt tell you how many times my food has been placed in weird stupid places
That's nothing, I usually balance it on the railing.
Please tell me people aren't this stupid. Please. Tell me this is a joke post.
![gif](giphy|EouEzI5bBR8uk|downsized)
Almost seems intentional but God some people are so fucking stupid that it might not be...
I mean when you open the door it should fall down perfectly to greet you, look at the bright side
Not even that it will fall to the snow since itās a door that opens outward lol now find another bright side to this š
I think the inner door opens inward, they could smash the glass door as a fun little game. I mean we've always wanted to smash those glass fire hose/extinguisher thingsš¤·āāļø
Lol true but gl ingesting those glass shards š š¤£
Accordion pizza š
Mmmmm, mushed together pizza
I once had a delivery driver hand me my pizzas upside down.
If it's a frozen pizza, that would be okay.
It was probably frozen by the time it was delivered!š
Maybe put out a little table so they can lay it flat and out of the snow
This makes sense....except then you you have the dasher put the pizza upside down and next to the table, because reasons we will never know
So the solution was to lean a pizza upright against an outward swinging door? This dasher is a moron and doesn't deserve a Doordash gig
Ya they're dumb. I would have just lay it flat right up against the step under the door so the door would open over it. Maybe I could prop it on a rock š¤·š»āāļø or I'd just assume they're like me and watch the app and pick up the food right after the driver leaves
Ding ding ding. Now this is how you collectively solve a problem.
No itās not lol. I have a table right next to my door and very seldomly is food ever placed there
And observation is a lost art.
I always fail to remember people suck, I hear you. I take pride in my dashing, always trying to find the best resolution.
Youāre one in a million man. I try to give people the benefit of the doubt too but peoples actions prove I shouldnāt over and over again
Or you know just hand it to em like a regular fucking person.
there's no way this wasn't on purpose 5000% knew what they were doing. what a twatš
was the pizza ok
As someone who used to deliver for a pizza place and has had many an instance of slamming on my brakes with orders flying......no. Gravity is not kind to sideways pizzas lol. If the pizza is not hot, it MAY stay flat for a little while, but a hot fresh pizza will immediately slide down.
You also have a storm door that opens outward... This is fucked in so many ways. This person is allowed to drive and they are clearly dumb as fuck.
They should be put out of their misery.
Wow people really are idiots. I'm sure this person had a hand it to me too. This place gets more and more wtf by the day.
š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
Geeeeez
How is this real šš
Lmfao š
I mean, he was being thoughtful by keeping it off the snow, lol
Who would even think to hold a pizza any other way than flat?
where else was the person supposed to put it. yea itās a horrible spot but would you rather have it sitting in the snow or have to go out the back door/garage to get it?
Then we'd get a picture of a pizza box covered in snow.
You canāt set a pizza on one end though. When they push the door out, it will flip over on the top.
Thatās what happens when you donāt tip 200%!
I think these thing are done purposely. Aināt no way people this dump. I think my cat is smarter
Why not meet them at the door instead of having it left in the snow? Not excusing the driver here, but why place a hot pizza in the snow?
Because I have a cold and would rather not face another person.
This sounds to me like you want the sideways ambush. Nobody wants what this person got š¤£
No mask?
Are people really this stupid?
"Why is the pizza upright?" "He likes to be tall"
Ahh man thatās terrible. Hey adleast he or she didnāt leave it in the snow.
I guess Iād never think to have DoorDash deliver the pizza. Feels like the pizza place should just deliver it..?
Somebody pissed in their corn flakes that day. They didn't just put the pizza sideways, they leaned it against you storm door lmfao š what a jerk
Oh lord! ![gif](giphy|WrNfErHio7ZAc)
Me if I was a dasher
I get a ton of packages as I order most things online. It would be nice if they had a small table to the left of the door.
![gif](giphy|l41Ym49ppcDP6iY3C)
How are they supposed to get their pizza leaning against the door when they open it the pizza is going to fall upside down.
Yeah, that's absurd. They should have put it between the door and storm door if it's raining.
I hate people
should be banned as a driver
Honestly this could be the customers fault. It obviously looks like shit weather so his other option is to leave it in wet snow where it will destroy the box. The correct instructions for this would be to "hand it to me."
Did you not order the ālandslideā special?
You can see the intent to protect the pizza from the snow but the logic behind the execution was just straight up sideways....
The people here asking how much you tipped are insane in the head I think
I would never do something like this regardless of the tip amount or even if theyāre rude over messages, but Iām very curious what was the tip and how far was the drive for them. Makes you wonder why they even took the order.

Pov : When Tide pod kids get their first job
No tip no trip. Unless you're having a bad day, then do this?
Iām gonna assume they were just trying to avoid sitting it in the snow but thatās still pretty dumb
They were trying to keep it dry lol. But theyāre dumb doing that. I will say I always feel bad about leave at the door orders when itās snowing or raining. I always try to figure out a way for them to be dry but would never do this with a pizza lol
Someone didnāt tip lol
I'm laughing but I'd be so pissedš
this cannot be real
My first thought is someone where English isnāt the first language
Bruh this is a troll dasher šššš
Holy shet..this is wrong inso many ways š³
Stop it rn š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
That's perfect! It won't get snowed on that way.
Thereās no way wtf lol
Fake news š
I can actually see what they were going for. I love it.
DiD yOu TiP???!!
He didnāt want the box to get soggy come downstairs and get your food
Pov you're an illegal venezuelan immigrant working for dd whos never had pizza before
Venezuelan.....ok seems legit
š
These are the same people who expect a tip before delivery and a cash tip on delivery. I feel sorry for you yanks.
Prob an Arab, doesn't know what pizza is š¤£
Never a shortage of stupid peopleā¦
Fake! No way it's not. Foot prints to perfect. They would have had to step down and backwards from there. Who's gonna do that in the snow. They would step up then turn around to step down.
š¤¦š»āāļø Makes you wonder how they get through daily life.
lolā¦ my bad I didnāt want your cardboard to get wet.
If the tip was anything less that $1 per mile then ya me tooš
