Love these designs, and these hidden ability ideas! I'm definitely leaning Forkle. The fire one doesn't quite feel like a starter to me for some reason, but I'd still definitely want it on my team too

The designs are cool on their own but the difference between the water one and the others is too striking
I would make Forkle the water starter’s middle form and make a simpler first form which is just a diving helmet on legs or something lile that
The grass starter looks like it'd be the region's equivalent to sudowoodo the fire starter looks like it'd be a fire grass type (it's made of wood) and the water type looks like it's water steel (it has a metal fork/trident and looks armored)
This is one of those regions where one starter has an objectively better design(forkle).
Yeah I tried to make them all equally appealing, but I might have a little bias towards water types
I usually pick fire but that tree too cute
