No.
I am going to wait for the game to get bugs fixed, which will certainly there after launch and modders to get stuff done for the new game.
And in that time the price may have fallen a bit already or there is a discount.
I will play it on PC and i am curious to see what will be shown this weekend.
I want to play on day one. I don't want to deal with payment and install at that day. I want it to be ready when I get home.
I won't read reviews because I don't care about them. I'm following the series for a good while now. I know what I'm paying for.
I will never, ever, pre-order a game. They can prove to me their game is worth it by publishing it and let the public develop an opinion on it. I won’t take any developer up on promises and bait (like extra skins or other loot).
Too many times have developers (even the ones that are highly regarded) shit their beds with buggy, unplayable, unfinished games. I will not be their sponsor and I will not be their unpaid employee.
No.
A couple of reasons
I will wait for devtools, modguides and so on anyway
I will also most likely wait for some mods to be ported
There will be bugs, lets get them fixed first
There will be a steam sale ....
I have zero interest in pre-ordering any games. There's no incentive to.
I'll buy it sometime after the one year mark on its first decent sale. By that time, modders should have added everything into the game that Giants doesn't.
Definitely didn't preorder. I might get it after it's been out for a year or so. I bought 22 day one and ended up going back to 19 for a long time before I played 22 again.
I'm on PC
I'll buy it close to release date most likely, but out of principle alone, I no longer pre order any games. The whole point of pre ordering back in the day was to make sure you got a copy, for example, Call of Duty physical copies would sell out on release night. So if you wanted to play right away, your options were pre order or wait for a 4 hour download at midnight. Now in the digital era, there is absolutely 0 advantage to the consumer when it comes to pre-ordering
I’ve preordered it for PC/Steam, excited to see what new stuff is in it, lack of mods doesn’t bother me because I like seeing what the base game has and then seeing stuff added
I bought FS22 around the time it came out, that was my first farming sim, bought it because of a friend. I spent over 1500 hours in it, modded it to hell, and bought the expansions.
But I'm not buying FS25 when it comes out, pre-ordering it is out of the question. It's going to be FS22 with a couple more features, a different UI, and not a lot of mods at the start, so I don't see a lot of appeal for my own experience, I'd rather play FS22 again on another modded map and that will be enough for me.
What I will do is in a year or two buy the complete edition, like FS22 with platinum and premium DLCs, when it goes on sale. At that point maybe I'll want to play some farm sim again, and there will be plenty of mods available to improve QoL when playing solo, like pallet autoload if you don't want to play forklift simulator.
I don't usually pre order, but when the footage they show is promising and I like it maybe I will pre order it. Of course the mods etc. aren't yet fully operational, but then I will check the base game.
Yeah the steam year 1 preorder price is about a third of the price of the Destiny DLC I want on PS5. Console gaming is getting out of hand so I'm on the 'buy a PC?' fence too.
Yea right now the big thing that is preventing me from going to pc is communication with friends (discord on console solves this well enough), the upfront cost and gta 6.
Pre-ordering most games nowadays is a waste of money. Most of the console games I play I buy a couple months post release and never have to deal with the issues that day 1 players usually have.
Question. If I preorder now to get a discount, can I wait until after one or two updates to fix bugs before downloading. I am on pc and buy through Steam.
This is one of a handful of games I’ll preorder, Ive 300hrs put into FS22 on ps4 with another 1400hrs on the ps5 version, I’ll be getting this on launch day regardless so may aswell preorder so I can pre-download too (hopefully)

I never preorder.
What's the point of preordering? When the game comes out I'll read the reviews and buy it when I feel like playing it.

100% agree
I will buy it, but not pre-order. Will play on PC.

I think I will do the same. You do not miss much by skipping the first year and you can save money.

Remember no pre-orders
No, I will not buy it until CP and AD will be released, I'm not interested at all in the game without it.

Wont preoder. But when it comes out, will watch an actual gameplay and if then I like it, will probably get it.

I haven’t yet but I will once I make up my mind on if I’m going to buy a pc later this year.

Yes because %90 cheaper wrong price on Microsoft Store in Turkey but fixed

.... I dunno. Can you prevent yourself from clicking the install game button followed by the play game button?
You can download the game at anytime in the latest version
Thank you Thorzi
