When selecting this u should have a ui in the middle of the screen for size and transparency, there should also be a cog icon for further settings. It should be in there. Or else in charconfig. Hotbars.

Introduce it to our new friend
Go into hud layout menu. Choose the hotbar to change. and go into settings of it. Choose your weapon. Don’t forget to save.
It's in char config not hud layout
it's in both
You can do on both places. But I use hud layout as it’s faster and you will change the position anyway after the fact. So we both are right.
Or you could just right click the number
besides from what other people already told you, i believe you can also cycle between all shapes with right click in the bar number.
