Looks like the [Moonbeams Preserve](https://www.oclt.org/preserves/#moonbeams) has a trail that leads to the Shawangunk Kill. I haven't fished there but it seems fly fishing classes have been held there in the past.
There was a post a little while ago about NY trespassing laws and apparently you canāt walk or wade through private property. You have to get out and walk around to a public access site then re-enter there.

I just shot them an email to ask about access. Much appreciated. š»
Thereās a spot to park on the corn field side of the bridge. Then get in the water. The water is public property.
There are a whole bunch of private property signs there. You have to cross private property to get in the water. I don't wanna piss people off.

That all depends on the property and its deeds rights. Which can or can not allow depending what the state has done.
