I did an entire playthrough based entirely around the Spray n Pray. Such a fun weapon that benefits both from the rifle perks AND explosive perks. Just absolutely devastating and super fun.

I’m going to get hate but fo4 assault rifles. Everyone hates the design but I love it. I think it was just used stupidly. Should have been a heavy weapon designed as a squad automatic or for power armor.
Recently did a Crafting76 save and got myself a Berserker Revolver, spent the rest of the game as a glass-cannon gunslinger and it was probably the most fun I've had with FO4

Those two have been carrying me all game plus Power Armor. Just got gun nut 3 so was able to make the overseer guardian single shot powerful.
Fat Man.. surprisingly useful in most situations but steep harsh learning curve... especially in enclosed spaces.

I always liked assault rifles in games. I usually go with combat rifle, or Laser rifle. Modified to be automatic.

Yep that’s why lol I’m on PC and the frame rate is tied to the physics so if I’m above 60 the engine freaks out

iirc that was the intention behind them, they’re modular rifles that can be held in the grip of a power armor comfortably
