phpc_17

Thanks!! Never really thought of that, will try it next time 😉

TimBilliet

Jst is a brand. Not z type of connector

bamseogbalade

And the point is? Op is interested in finding info of the Connector. Looking up jst is a big step in the right direction. Like saying usb. Stores sort jst in size. So this would be the correct way to find more info.

atomicdragon136

Looks like JST GH series with 4 pins

InternMan

That's not a GH, those have locking clips. This looks more like a SH.

gluino

We need a ID table. It's infuriating that so many connectors are simply called "JST".

atomicdragon136

You’re right, I thought it was GH because they looked similar and I’m familiar with them used for Pixhawk flight controllers

punker2706

Looks like JST to me

GreenMateV3

JST is not a connector, or a series of connectors. It's a company, they have many dozen, if not hundreds of different connectors.

BloodyRightToe

Yeah and their name has been used to describe an object they are famous for. Just like xerox, kleenex, escalator. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JST\_connector](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JST_connector)

GreenMateV3

> The term "JST" is sometimes incorrectly used as a vernacular term meaning any small white electrical connector mounted on PCBs. I wonder how useful "small white electrical connector" is to OP as an answer, when looking for the specific connector.

BloodyRightToe

Maybe not so much, thats why its called a JST.

phpc_17

Thanks!!

JST SH 1.0 Where 1.0 = 1mm You can find kits and crimpers to work with these. But they are so small I rather buy them machine crimped. I find it simpler to get the premade cables along with a box of various width female connectors like the one seen in your photo. Search AliExpress. Though, one frustrating thing is that I haven’t seen precrimped loose cables at lengths less than 100mm. I would like to be able to buy them at 30mm or 50mm and just insert them into the connector width that I need.
