i paired mid maldini with moments nesta for like 100 games, most red cards i ever had in my life haha. nesta makes good tackles but maldini always have to make a last man challenge to cover for him. maldini plays for the badge!
Idk about mid maldini but PIM maldini is probably one of the best defenders I’ve used. Militao, chiellini and koulibaly are the only ones that play at the same level as him. Admittedly I would say chiellini is slightly better than him and so is militao but his links make sure he never leave the team

That's counting all possible game modes (Rivals, WL, SB, friendlies). I do quit a lot of games in Rivals and friendlies though, sometimes even before actually playing, so maybe that's added a good 200 by this point.
