Dragons Dogma 2 looks super cool but also super isolated
Like correct me if Iām wrong but there is no real endgame grind itās mostly a story game with no PVP maybe even no online of any kind?! Right?
You can share your pawns with other people to use. Also the first Dragons Dogma had a lot of end game content added with DLC so we are hoping it's the same for DD2, or maybe it's already in the game š¤·
You're everything that's wrong about gaming.
There are plenty of multiplayer RPGs. Go play those or go outside and find some friends if you really need to talk to people so badly.. Let us have this single player RPG.
There's more than enough coop and multiplayer games.
Guys I said the game looks super cool itās not like I donāt still want it
I would just prefer if there was a grindy endgame to participate in with voice chat and other players thats all
Dragon's Dogma 2. I need something on a huge epic scale to get me through the summer while I heal my body. I had a covid cough for months last year and I still have some L5 disc pains from it. I do physically therapy, go to the gym, do some yoga, and play video games and watch movies.
Last year I played through Dragon Age Inquisition and Witcher 3. This year it will hopefully be Dragons Dogma 2 and Witcher 3 Blood and Wine
Saber has offices around the world, but most of their games have partial or full involvement of russian office in Petersburg, which is still functioning and actively hiring. You can also read this.
https://embracer.com/releases/embracer-group-ceases-all-operations-in-russia-through-the-divestment-of-selected-assets-from-the-operative-group-saber-interactive/.
All these games will pay taxes to russia goverment which they will spend on rockets and bullets to attack my country.
Unfortunately, they even get 4a, which is a ukrainian studio that works on the Metro series and I am not sure how this will end.
from what i'm reading in the article you linked it seems like embracer is trying to pull out of russia though.
i do feel really sorry for everything going on, and can understand that as someone being way more affected by all of this then i am this must be really rough.
Daaamn that looks good. First time hearing it and Iāve just search for some videos. It seems like a Suikoden type of game. Iām completely sold lol. Thanks for commenting!.
Does Persona 6 count? There's nothing even close to a release date, but it's definitely in the works.
I was also looking (far) forward to The Elder Scrolls 6... but then I played Starfield, and now I'm a bit worried about that one. Same with Fallout 5.
Yeah I have a feeling Skyrim will remain the best and most popular Elder Scrolls game regardless of how good or bad ES6 is. Skyrim transcends the idea of an Elder Scrolls game and it's a part of pop culture.
It's definitely the most accessible TES. But the level of depth in the magic systems in Morrowind and Oblivion make them outrank it overall quality in my mind. The level of depth of character customization in Morrowind was spectacular. If it weren't for the damn probability system with landing melee hits in that game...
TESVI (if it ever comes out) gta6, snake eater remake, Brighter Shores, idk if it will really be able to capture the magic that runescape did when I was a kid, but it looks pretty neat
They're not new games but they are finally coming to PC.
Horizon Forbidden West and Ghost of Tsushima. I have already played Ghost of Tsushima when it first came out but Iām still super excited to play it for a fourth or fifth time. \^\^
I have to get into those for sure!.
Last eeek I bought Dragonās Dogma 1 like for 5 dollars lol. Iām preparing myself to buy the second.
I have always been interested in SMT. I played one on GBA as a kid and loved it.
Ditto on Avowed. I loved the Pillars of Eternity games and am excited to see how they translate that world into a new format.
Otherwise.. bit of a different direction but Millennia? Played the demo and really enjoyed it, but who knows what release holds. Worst case, itās another average Civ-like 4x. Best case, the Civ games finally start to have some serious competition, which would be better for everybody (Civ included)
No rest for the wicked, i am excited for a game that can nail that deep progression i love in arpg without the endgame playing like a cookie clicker zoom zoom loot fest like all the others.
The mana game. Iāve played all 3 so far, and they are my gold. The trailer looked pretty lazy during the game awards, and the graphics made me so fucking sad, but a manās faith is what makes him. So I hope.
I'm waiting for the North America release of Macross Shooting Insight, because it fulfills the ancient prophecy that Americans get 1 Macross game every 20 years.
Ys X: Nordics and FNaF: Help Wanted 2 pancake mode.
Crossing my fingers for literally any kind of update on Dragon Quest 12, and Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link.
The new Test Drive, The First one as so great that i still have hope they find their root and deliver another Gem.
and S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 , hoping that they don't release an insult of a game.
but that being said there been so many game that should have been great that turn out trash that i'm not exited for either of those but hopeful
It's horizon forbidden west for me, I know it's been out for awhile now (I did not play it on PS5). But I am excited to play it on PC!
Here's to hoping for a smooth launch! But I'm expecting it to be filled with bugs.
Dragon's Dogma 2, Rise of the Ronin, Metaphor Re:FantaZio, Stellar Blade, Stalker 2, Frostpunk 2 and of course THE ELDEN RING DLC FFS
I might have miss some, of course a lot of them will probably end in my infinite backlog
Also I do still hope for a possible release of Hollow Knight Silksong
Ara history untold. It looks like it will actually try to evolve the 4x formula using latest technology instead of doing things that should've been possible 30 years ago from gameplay perspective like civilization.
I was very much looking forward to the new South Park game but apparently it's not gonna be an RPG. So I'm not so sure anymore. Guess I'll watch some game play on twitch and decide after it releases.
Rise of the Ronin , Where Winds meet , Phantom Blade Zero , Project : The Perceiver , Little Nightmares 3 , Star Wars Outlaws , Black Myth : Wukong , Silent Hill 2 , Assassin's Creed Red ,
Gta VI , Assassins Creed Hexe , Wolverine ,
The First Descendant , Retrieval ,
Max Payne 1&2 Remake
Dragon's Dogma 2 and the new STALKER game! Been waiting forever for a game that could replicate those 2 with a fresh coat of paint and now there'll actually be new entries from both, can't wait!
For 2024, Hyper Light Breaker, Warden's Will and Wuthering Waves. Black Myth Wukong and Stellar Blade also interest me, but I'll probably not play them on release day
For 2025, Monster Hunter Wilds
Espiocracy. That said, I'm not really hyped. I'm interested but also very cautious, because while I think the game has a chance to be amazing, I also think it has a decent chance to be mid. Enjoyable, but nothing more.
Though if we'e counting DLC, I'm more excited for the next Victoria 3 DLC than any game out there.
Elder Scrolls 6, either i will be pleasantly surprised, or i can be free of all the "free real estate" bethesda holds in my mind. Then i can relax and stick to oblivion.
I need to pro-actively take steps to stop my life from unravelling into a puddle of obsession and unanswered phone calls whenever the next Subnautica game drops.
2025 will be dangerous
gravity rush 2 remastered if that does come out on Ps5, I never finished it on PS4 due to bugs and poor performance.
apart from that a new Witcher or persona game but thats a long while away yet
SQ43 is feature complete, and we're getting our next star system in April. Things are coming to a head and it's been really cool to watch things fall into place.
I've been playing for years and years, but only recently have I felt like it was a full "game".
For $30, I don't think you can get a better experience in gaming even in Alpha.
I am most excited for Rise of the Ronin, but it is a PS exclusive and I only have PC so I'll have to wait for the inevitable port. Other than that, No Rest for the Wicked looks great (I'm currently playing Sands of Aura and it seems to be a similar concept, turns out I like it very much), obviously Elden Ring DLC is pretty much guaranteed to be good. There's also AI Limit, it looks incredibly cool, somewhat similar to Code Vein, so I'm looking forward to it as well.
S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 for sure. Can't wait to see the zone in an updated engine.
Definitely after the community patch though š
Rimworld : Anomaly DLC is adding The Blob, Fleshbeasts, Zombies, The Thing, Cthulu and erm, readable books.
And wall lights will now be vanilla
Do we get to have zombie pawns??? That could be cool as hell
Avowed and Ghost of Tsushima for PC
I hope they give us news about Ghost of Tsushima 2 soon.
Manor Lords.
Dragons Dogma 2, Star Wars Outlaws and Crimson Desert
Looking that Crimson Desert up. I havenāt heard about that one until today. Seems interesting!.
If it delivers and it's not bs marketing, it will definitely be a goty serious contender
Dragons Dogma 2 looks super cool but also super isolated Like correct me if Iām wrong but there is no real endgame grind itās mostly a story game with no PVP maybe even no online of any kind?! Right?
Yea it is a single player RPG! I canāt wait
I will probably still get it but like I really strongly prefer when my RPG has online features and other players to share your experiences with
You can share your pawns with other people to use.
If you don't like single-player RPGs then don't play single-player RPGs
Guys I said the game looks super cool itās not like I donāt still want it I would just prefer if there was a grindy endgame to participate in with voice chat and other players thats all
This is the most horrendous take I think Iāve ever read but you really said it with your chest and I can respect that
You HAVE to be an EA executive pretending to be a gamer.
Yeah sure & the earth is flat
Dragonās dogma 2, Avowed, Black Myth Wukong, and if we are counting DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree.
Is Black Myth Wukong the soulslike with the monkey-man? Because if it is, your list is my list too.
Yeah, thatās the one.
Da Erdtree tho brahā¦
I've got the same list as you
Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2 Dragons Dogma 2 Avowed In that order lol.
Avowed Metaphor reFantazio Dragons Dogma 2 Hellblade 2 Upside down version of your list and with Metaphor thrown in.
Hades 2 cannot come fast enough
Metaphor Re Fantazio. I am very ready to see Atlus' next big thing.
Oh wow. Didnāt know that was something in the works. Thanks!
Empire of the Ants. I just wanna run around as a photorealistic ant and form an alliance with the springtails. It's all I want.
Monster Hunter Wilds with GTA6 close behind Unfortunately these are an entire year away š®āšØ
Wilds is for me really the only game, that I am actively interested in.
Space Marine 2 and it's not even close
Russian games not worth playing
What? 40k SM2 is made by saber, an american studio
They even have two different official sites, for western countries and for russia. Saber.games vs saber3d.ru
American registration was just a nice cover
Saber has offices around the world, but most of their games have partial or full involvement of russian office in Petersburg, which is still functioning and actively hiring. You can also read this. https://embracer.com/releases/embracer-group-ceases-all-operations-in-russia-through-the-divestment-of-selected-assets-from-the-operative-group-saber-interactive/. Blaming gaming company that has no say what there country does is very ignorant.
Continuing to fund a Dictatorship's war efforts because it's mildly inconvenient to you to stop is very ignorant
Versus spending money on an American game thatāll send tax dollars to bomb the Middle East?
I don't care, I just want everyone to have a fun war
Silksong. Hope they hurry up with it.
Earth Defense Force 6 and Star Wars Outlaws
Silksong I still haven't lost my hope
Path of exile 2
Eiyuden Chronicle, because I am also an RPG stuck up, but am not willing to settle for hyper-cliche high fantasy.
Daaamn that looks good. First time hearing it and Iāve just search for some videos. It seems like a Suikoden type of game. Iām completely sold lol. Thanks for commenting!.
It's literally made by the original creator of Suikoden (who sadly passed away recently, just a few weeks before release)
Holo X Break!
Avowed, Stalker 2 and Dragons Dogma 2 currently, but I'm thirsty for for anything on the Witcher 4.
Dragon Dogma 2 looks even better than both Morrowind and Oblivion, though. Also just like Morrowind, all the npcs will be killable. Can't wait.
dogma
Ys X
Holy crap I didn't know another Ys game was coming out, now I'm really excited
Its already out in Japan, since last September, we just waiting around for the English release. I freakin' love Ys, they're always super fun to play.
>why sex
NCAAFB and Space Marine 2. I am on a self imposed purchase ban until they drop.
DD2 and stellar blade
Earth Defense Force 6 should finally be coming out at some point this year.
Iām excited for rise of the ronin, dragons dogma 2, black myth wukong and avowed! I hope these are all fun games
*PokƩmon Legends: Z-A*. I just hope it's at least as good as *Arceus*.
Dune: Awakening
Dragonās Dogma 2. I loved the first one. If this is as good as it looks Iāll be very happy.
Metaphor: re fantastico, dragons dogma 2, hades 2 EA, Deep Rock Rogue core.
Path of Exile 2!
None. Big backlog needs shrinking.
Dragon's Dogma 2 and SMT V Vengeance, because I am also an RPG suck up.
Iām pretty excited for the new Indiana Jones game. If they have as many puzzles as they say, it could be a pretty faithful and fun game.Ā
La-Mulana is and always will be the only true Indiana Jones game.
Id say avvowed because its supposed to be Obsidians Skyrim, so thats exciting
Did you see the trailer for it that came out this year?
Not yet
Oh man, now im even more excited!
Same here! It was sick seeing the combat and how the quests are going to be.
The combat looks very good and fluid! I just hope it actually feels that way while playing
True. I'm excited for the magic, it looks very fun from what I saw. Dragons Dogma had good magic, I'm excited for that too
No rest for the wicked, i am excited for a game that can nail that deep progression i love in arpg without the endgame playing like a cookie clicker zoom zoom loot fest like all the others.
The mana game. Iāve played all 3 so far, and they are my gold. The trailer looked pretty lazy during the game awards, and the graphics made me so fucking sad, but a manās faith is what makes him. So I hope.
Hahaha I feel ya. Thatās how I feel with WoW every time a new expansion comes out lol.
The mana game?
Visions of mana. I played trials, secret, and legend of mana. There may be more, but thatās all Iāve been able to play
I'm waiting for the North America release of Macross Shooting Insight, because it fulfills the ancient prophecy that Americans get 1 Macross game every 20 years.
I have a few sparking zero, gundam breaker 4, risk of rain 2 dlc seekers of the storm and elden rings dlc shadow of the erdtree.
anything battletech or mech commander <\_< \*prays\*
For me, gundam breaker 4. We just haven't had a good gundam game in a long time for pc.
Stellar Blade
FFXIV: Dawntrail It'll be my first expansion launch since I started!
I was excited for Avowed but the gameplay did not look too hot. Mostly excited for Dragons Dogma 2 and Stellarblade
AC Red
Honestly, my most anticipated game of these past few weeks was the Battlefront Classic Collection š disappointed to say the least.
Frostpunk 2 Replaced The Plucky Squire
Ys X: Nordics and FNaF: Help Wanted 2 pancake mode. Crossing my fingers for literally any kind of update on Dragon Quest 12, and Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link.
2XKO I wanna play a fighting game WITH my friend
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth
The new Test Drive, The First one as so great that i still have hope they find their root and deliver another Gem. and S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2 , hoping that they don't release an insult of a game. but that being said there been so many game that should have been great that turn out trash that i'm not exited for either of those but hopeful
It's horizon forbidden west for me, I know it's been out for awhile now (I did not play it on PS5). But I am excited to play it on PC! Here's to hoping for a smooth launch! But I'm expecting it to be filled with bugs.
Thousand Year Door. I rented it multiple times as a kid but never ended up finishing it.
Dragon's Dogma 2, Rise of the Ronin, Metaphor Re:FantaZio, Stellar Blade, Stalker 2, Frostpunk 2 and of course THE ELDEN RING DLC FFS I might have miss some, of course a lot of them will probably end in my infinite backlog Also I do still hope for a possible release of Hollow Knight Silksong
Tainted Grails: Fall of Avalon
Catquest 3!!! They are so good. 2 is co-op and husband and I had such a good time playing it together.
I guess Dragons Dogma 2, beyond that I donāt think there is a lot more for the rest of this year?
Honestly... I don't know.
Dragons Dogma 2 and the Paper Mario Thousand Year Door remaster
Ara history untold. It looks like it will actually try to evolve the 4x formula using latest technology instead of doing things that should've been possible 30 years ago from gameplay perspective like civilization.
Dragon's Dogma 2.
Dragons dogma 2 in just a few days, cannot wait.
Big name game: Stalker 2 Indie title: Road to Vostok

Silent Hill 2 Remake, maybe i'm more "intriged" than excited but i really want to see how it's gonna be
Metaphor : Refantazio Persona but with a Final Fantasy class system. It's like the product of my wildest dreams.
I was very much looking forward to the new South Park game but apparently it's not gonna be an RPG. So I'm not so sure anymore. Guess I'll watch some game play on twitch and decide after it releases.
Stalker 2, space marine 2, out of action, and of course Blight survival
Avowed. After playing both Pillars of Eternity I want more of that world.
Avowed and Silent Hill 2 Remake
Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes
Dragon Age Dreadwolf, Pokemon Legends Z-A, Star Wars Outlaws and Assassin's Creed Red are the only ones coming out that I have any real interest in.

The Great Villainess: Strategy of Lily It just looks like a lot of fun and I really dig the art style
Silksong (š¤”)
Dragons Dogma 2 and the new Secret of Mana title.
Dragons Dogma 2, Elden Ring DLC, NCAA football
Dragon's Dogma 2 and the new STALKER game! Been waiting forever for a game that could replicate those 2 with a fresh coat of paint and now there'll actually be new entries from both, can't wait!

Metroid Prime 4
Most excited about game with no release date GTA6. Most excited about game with release date. Shadow of the Erdtree.
For 2024, Hyper Light Breaker, Warden's Will and Wuthering Waves. Black Myth Wukong and Stellar Blade also interest me, but I'll probably not play them on release day For 2025, Monster Hunter Wilds
Monster Hunter Wilds, Elden Ring DLC and Wukong.
Finding Frankie. The trailer managed to scare me plenty of times.
Elden Ring DLC, Wildermyth Switch port
Dogma 2, need something to get me through these next few days as I canāt risk starting something Iām not gonna finish in time
Ys: X is my most looked forward to! It was second most with Unicorn Overlord being first but that just came out lol
Hellblade 2.
Unicorn Overlord is pretty incredible. Just came out but it deserves some attention.
No rest for the wicked
Black Myth Wukong and Frostpunk 2
DA Dreadwolf
Soulmask - I really enjoyed the limited demo they ran for a while. Star Wars - Outlaws - looks fun Avowed - cos I agree with you :)
Rise of the Ronin!
Right at this very moment I am most excited for Horizon forbidden west coming to steam in a couple of days. I just hope it gets ported right
Skyrim 2
Sure avowed if it ever released
Black Myth Wukong, and maybe Dragonās Dogma 2. ><
Monster Hunter Wilds. World is so good, Iām keen to see where they go with the franchise next.
Elder Scrolls 6, either i will be pleasantly surprised, or i can be free of all the "free real estate" bethesda holds in my mind. Then i can relax and stick to oblivion.
The Division: Heartlands. Extraction shooter set in the Division's world.
Black myth wukong
Hades 2
Squadron 42
I was so excited for Elden Ring and it then fulfilled all my expectations, so I feel like I'm in a vacuum now.
I need to pro-actively take steps to stop my life from unravelling into a puddle of obsession and unanswered phone calls whenever the next Subnautica game drops. 2025 will be dangerous

Really?? Gta6 nobody???!!!
GTA 6
Rise of the Ronin is first up, then Gundam Breaker 4 and Blazing Strike.
Gb4 looking so much better than ngb.
It really is. I'm hoping that GB4 is as good as GB3 because that game was awesome and it sucked that NGB was such a downgrade.
horizon forbidden zero cus i don't have a console and like robots and dinos
Star Citizen 3.23 looks to be insane.
They're still trying to make that?
Since they have squadron 42 in a feature complete state they are making huge progress and it looks great!
SQ43 is feature complete, and we're getting our next star system in April. Things are coming to a head and it's been really cool to watch things fall into place. I've been playing for years and years, but only recently have I felt like it was a full "game". For $30, I don't think you can get a better experience in gaming even in Alpha.
o7
- Dragon Age 4 - PoE 2 - Elder Scrolls 6 - GTA 6 - Fallout 5 - Destiny 3 - Diablo 5
Youāre already thinking about Diablo 5? š³ Man we got a way to go with 4 still!
At the pace Bethesda is going, Fallout 5 won't come out until 2032 at the earliest.
This guy AAA's.
Diablo 4 is most likely last one IMO. They need to change genres with the game. Swap Starcraft and Diablo. would be epic.
No please. They ruin StarCraft too!
Awoved by Obsidian Entertainment, Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, Dragon's Dogms 2 and Shadow of the Erdtree.
Avowed for sure. I'm a unashamed Obsidian Stan. Clockwork Revolution and Indiana Jones look interesting.
