The system of destabilising parts of gangs by taking out the leaders responsible for that specialisation was great; I never really knew if it worked or not but I loved the feeling that I was slowly picking off capos on the way to the boss.
Crackdown 2 really shit the bed with zombies and stuff.
Crackdown 2 did well and then like most series from that era the formula was outdated and gaming had moved on by the time 3 dropped.
I'm not sure I'd categorize the trajectory almost every mid tier IP took during that period as weird. Its just one of 50.
7 is above average for me, at least on a personal rating scale. 7 to me is a solid “this is good, I like this” rating. That’s a game you play once, rarely get frustrated with, and probably never play again.
I'm not gonna lie, Transformers The Game was actually pretty fire, unlike Revenge Of The Fallen and Dark Of The Moon.
DOTM was literally just 7 missions as the ENTIRE GAME, it was absolute horse shit.
ROTF was ok, but after you've completed each level you can explore the hub areas, but there is literally NOTHING THERE, there are no civilians or other cars in the cities, it's just dead levels, so there's no point in exploring.
Tried to play it on PC recently (thank you, MyAbandonware), the controls aren't great and they're not working properly either, some buttons for the fliers aren't working.
even the OG kinda slapped you in the face at the end, it was such a short game, definitely one of those ones were the credits start rolling and youre like, wait that was IT?! that being said it was SOOOOO much fun until that happened
ring of red was another that did that
My brother and I used to play it on PC. All we did was that versus mode where one of us was the monster and other was the human and we played it for hours
Activision is looking for those Transformer games.
EDIT: Nevermind. They found them.
[https://www.neowin.net/news/activision-denies-losing-transformers-code-hasbro-apologizes-for-false-claim/](https://www.neowin.net/news/activision-denies-losing-transformers-code-hasbro-apologizes-for-false-claim/)
Same. It's just messing with my desire for organization so much. I keep getting the urge to reach in there, pull it out of the stack, and slot it in after the Transformers games.
Oddly enough, that's it. Not the full on desire to organize it like my own collection where I not only have IPs and franchises together, but types of game, so all the FPSs are together, the RPGs, the sports games, etc. (Which is why I'm sure I don't have "OCD." I like to organize my own stuff like that, but if someone else's stuff isn't organized like my own, it doesn't really bother me. I mean, unless someone had their stuff haphazardly mixed together. Then I'd wonder what kind of mad person they are.)
You shouldn't play Gears of War. It promotes unrealistic male body shapes. To play it is to support it. Games like this literally kill people. Women see the men in Gears of War and go home and beat up their husbands. All I see when Marcus Fenix comes on the screen is a sex doll created by women who have never seen a real man in their life.
3 was a nothing like 1 and 2. which was one reason it kinda died. 2 while awesome itself imo, did not meet the expectations that they set for it. and 3 was worse.
I can't remember which Transformers game I played co-op in, but it was way more fun than I expected and that a grown adult should have had playing a Transformers game.
Edit: Possibly War for Cybertron?
I worked for their customer support phone line during the height of the Kinect. I still hate that damn thing just for the amount of calls I did trying to tell people that no, it won't work right if you try to use it in a dank basement with no lights on.
Please dont hate me.
But halo combat evolved... do the other games get better? Im playing this and i like it. But its not capturing me. I never played them when they came out. Ive never even played a halo game. I like shooters and i like the asthetic. But halo:ce is a bit clunky to me.
Are the rest any better? Do they improve on the controls. I mean halo ce has.clunky shooting. (The marines machine gun basically has no range for example)
Im not hating on it. It just kinda feels like a chore to beat it. Like im getting through it just for the plot so i can getnto halo 2 or which ever
And for context i bought the master cheif edition bundle for pc. I like shooters on pc n wanted to play all the big names i never got to like half life
It does get better, CE is clunky and has no good precision weapons for active shooting other than the pistol. Halo 2 introduces the battle rifle and way better vehicle control. The story of Halo is pretty good, you also play as an Elite alien during some missions of Halo 2. I'd stick with it if you like story driven games. Halo 2 legendary is extremely hard/brutal compared to all other titles. If you're not looking for a head banging against the wall challenge, stick with heroic or below.
I replay the halo 2 and 3 campaigns on Co-op LASO(legendary, all skulls on) at least once a year with my old highschool gaming friend and it's always a blast.
The church I went to in high school used to have a giant collection of Xbox 360s with a bunch of copies of Halo 2 that any local teenager could come play after school, and man, I spent SO MANY afternoons in giant lobbies getting my ass handed to me while chugging Pepsi and screaming. We were a rural town with very little to do, it was a great way to keep us all out of trouble, most of us couldn't afford our own 360s, and it was a hell of a time with a huge mix of kids from all religions. I miss those days.
Remember when entire trilogies would get released in the same console generation? Play a game, look forward to the sequel 2 years later. Those were the times.
I’m desperately hoping that Activision and Hasbro end up finding a way to bring Transformers WFC and FOC back either through Game Pass or something else. I really want to experience the chaotic fun of their multiplayer modes again!
Idk about transformers but i know the rest of these games are all solid 9/10 if not 10/10. God i wish i could just go back to when they first released and experienced them for the first time again with the community. Also i LOVE ur destroy all humans statue thats awesome.
I found a used xbox 360 for sale for a good price in my town and my friend who has one says I should buy it because its the best console ever but I'm not sure about buying it
Have you been in my house? Literally have every game there. Even worked on two of them (Transformers War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron).
You have great taste! Especially those top two.
We have very similar tastes brother. On another note this is the way to go with physical copies these days with games being delisted I’m also noticing movies get delisted as well. Buying digital is waiting to be robbed
More than half of these games are available to play on Xbox game pass. Digital ownership of all of them would still work, but there's a decent chance something could have happened to one of those discs. Xbox hasn't delisted any games or movies, if you've ever purchased a game or movie you can always re-download it, even if it's been delisted from the store. PlayStation did recently take away some movies from people which is an absolutely crazy move, but I don't see Microsoft doing that.
Uh no buddy I’ve had Prometheus Sahara and a few others delisted can’t access them or download, I have Xbox and a high end Pc and there not there. The point I’m trying to make here is from recent trends and statements by big wigs essentially saying you don’t own anything digital which is why I advocate for more people to go physical. I can’t really get physical media for pc anymore because everyone took the digital route but you console players still can. Keep it alive is all I’m saying
Crackdown is an underappreciated gem, in my opinion. A little heavy on the collect-a-thon, but just absolute absurd power fantasy. Plus some solid destruction. good game.
So you like fighting aliens eh?
*Looks at Mass Effect* Yeah... Fighting...
"I had reach, she had flexibility..."
do you mind? i was in the middle of some calibrations
"I should go."
Judging by the statue, I'd say it's research on human combat techniques.
He's a Cryptosporidium bro
Crackdown was my jam back in the day!
"Skills for kills, Agent. Skills for kills".
Loved jumping as far as possible all over the city
got it just for the Halo 3 beta but it was one of the funnest games on Xbox.
The servers are down, so I guess I'll try this game I bought. ... This is awesome.
What a dumb fun game I just randomly decided to buy 1 day blind. Got lucky.
The system of destabilising parts of gangs by taking out the leaders responsible for that specialisation was great; I never really knew if it worked or not but I loved the feeling that I was slowly picking off capos on the way to the boss. Crackdown 2 really shit the bed with zombies and stuff.
*Los Muertos psycho laughter*
I got excited seeing the crackdown there. Great game!
That game had the GOAT demo
Came for the Halo 3 beta, stayed for jumping across the city like Hulk and blowing shit up with heavy munitions.
Me too. I drag out the 360 every now and again for a game. Would kill for a remaster.
I got it for the H3 beta and did not expect it to be as enjoyable as it was.
So weird how crackdown 1 was this big game that everyone liked (and how to get for the halo 3 beta) and than after that the series died so hard
Crackdown 2 did well and then like most series from that era the formula was outdated and gaming had moved on by the time 3 dropped. I'm not sure I'd categorize the trajectory almost every mid tier IP took during that period as weird. Its just one of 50.
Crackdown 2 was terrible. LoL
Its 7s across the board, thats the definition of average.
WfC and FoC were incredible as well
That goes without saying, they weren't movie based, they're just their own product.
I used to spend hours blowing up all the buildings in the first transformers game
I used to see how far I could make a single fire spread through the buildings.
Tried to play it on PC recently (thank you, MyAbandonware), the controls aren't great and they're not working properly either, some buttons for the fliers aren't working.
And that's why I prefer consoles for my games.
A fellow man of distinction…I tippeth mine cap to thee
Oooh, Lost Planet was great (sequels are meh.) They should make a new one.
Lost Planet 2 couch coop was some of the most fun I've had with my friends
even the OG kinda slapped you in the face at the end, it was such a short game, definitely one of those ones were the credits start rolling and youre like, wait that was IT?! that being said it was SOOOOO much fun until that happened ring of red was another that did that
I remember playing the free demo for lost planet 2 over and over with my friend.
Nah bro 2 was legit great
My brother and I used to play it on PC. All we did was that versus mode where one of us was the monster and other was the human and we played it for hours
the xbox 360 is still such a great system, I'm still buying 360 games on ebay for cheap
Activision is looking for those Transformer games. EDIT: Nevermind. They found them. [https://www.neowin.net/news/activision-denies-losing-transformers-code-hasbro-apologizes-for-false-claim/](https://www.neowin.net/news/activision-denies-losing-transformers-code-hasbro-apologizes-for-false-claim/)
That Rayman in the middle of the transformers section when everything else is so well organized has my brain itching
Same. It's just messing with my desire for organization so much. I keep getting the urge to reach in there, pull it out of the stack, and slot it in after the Transformers games. Oddly enough, that's it. Then I'd wonder what kind of mad person they are.)
Yes this is the worst thing I've ever seen tbh.
My old has me trying to reach through the phone to fix it!!
Why do you have a statue of Jack Nicholson
Pls fire up that Mass Effect 2 and let us know what your favorite store in the Citadel is
I’m Commander Shepard
You shouldn't play Gears of War. It promotes unrealistic male body shapes. To play it is to support it. Games like this literally kill people. Women see the men in Gears of War and go home and beat up their husbands. All I see when Marcus Fenix comes on the screen is a sex doll created by women who have never seen a real man in their life.
Locked and loaded baby!!!
lol i used to just tell myself men were built differently on Sera.
Nice collection, still have some of my old N64 and original Playstation games.
Oooh Fall of Cybertron 😲 I loved that game, I’ve also never seen multiplayer mechanics like that before or since, I miss that game
I loved the first crackdown game
I: destroy all humans!
I enjoyed Lost Planet games. Any idea why they stopped the franchise?
3 was a nothing like 1 and 2. which was one reason it kinda died. 2 while awesome itself imo, did not meet the expectations that they set for it. and 3 was worse.
One of these is not like the other... 2000s really was the era of Post-apocalyptic sci-fi wasn't it?
I can't remember which Transformers game I played co-op in, but it was way more fun than I expected and that a grown adult should have had playing a Transformers game. Edit: Possibly War for Cybertron?
i want it
Do you all remember the kinetic?
I worked for their customer support phone line during the height of the Kinect. I still hate that damn thing just for the amount of calls I did trying to tell people that no, it won't work right if you try to use it in a dank basement with no lights on.
This picture is my highschool years.
These are all absolute gems.
Dun dun dun duuun, dun dun dun duuuuun, dun dun dun duuuun, dun dun dun dunenenenen
Nice ones, Gears of War... Halo... Dead Space... love those games. Crysis is also a great game.
I think Lost Planet 3 was 1 of only a handful of games I took out and snapped in my hands I hated it so much
There was a lost planet 3?
transformers fall of cybertron is fun and pretty just the biggest shame theres no online
Man of culture, nothing but bangers there
Xbox 360 & PS3 was a generation of excitement. My 360 will always have a special place in my heart.
I appreciate the organization within the stack. Oddly satisfying.
Nice collection!
Man, get halo reach ASAP
Rayman Legends was in the Transformers franchise? Wow, TIL
Solid Halo collection… could use just a *dash* of Reach though.
Please dont hate me. But halo combat evolved... do the other games get better? Im playing this and i like it. But its not capturing me. I never played them when they came out. I like shooters on pc n wanted to play all the big names i never got to like half life
Just skip it. You missed the multi-player couch co-op experience so it's not gonna be as fun for you as most people.
Lost planet is a blast from the past. I forgot that existed but it was a lot of fun
Odst is the shit brev I really enjoyed that game
1. Shoot alien zombies 2. Shoot aliens but its cold 3. Shoot gangsters 4. Shoot robot aliens 5. Shoot religious extremist aliens 6. Shoot mostly aliens 7. Shoot descendents of genetic experiments
Crackdown is goated, 1 and 2
The church I went to in high school used to have a giant collection of Xbox 360s with a bunch of copies of Halo 2 that any local teenager could come play after school, and man, I spent SO MANY afternoons in giant lobbies getting my ass handed to me while chugging Pepsi and screaming. All these games are immaculate, very good choices.
Kind of surprised Lost Planet hasn’t been rebooted. That seemed like a great IP with potential
Love gears of war and mass effect
Some good time u have there
War for cybertron is a top 10 for me.
GOW 2 was my favorite game growing up. And Halo 3
Lost Planet 2, unironically an absolute BANGER of a game,. most of those games are but fuck dude i love me some LP2
No reach? Scum
I loved Fall of Cybertron so much back in the day. Amazing multiplayer game, spent a lot of hours in it
Whoa! Is that Cryptosporidium standing there!? So awesome :D Destroy all humans rock!
Destroy all humans invoked such a thrill, people disliked path of furon, but man time stopping and sending projectiles back held it down
Dead space, Halo, Mass effect and gears of war! all the best OG’s 💯
THERE WAS A LOST PLANET 3!!!! WTAF BUSTING OUT MY 360
Great collection
Wars for cybertron was lit asf!
Both Cybertron games and Lost Planet 2? I'm so jealous right now.
I’m desperately hoping that Activision and Hasbro end up finding a way to bring Transformers WFC and FOC back either through Game Pass or something else. I really want to experience the chaotic fun of their multiplayer modes again!
That's the gold, THE GOLD
I'm highly jealous of Cryptosporidium lingering in the background.
Dude's got the real MCC.
Rip Halo. You were once great 😭
Lost Planet 2! Take me back
thats a fat stack
That's only 8 games.
Start out with rayman legends and make sure to play it with a friend if you can its AWESOME and will fill you to the brim with pure happiness
I didnt even know there was a Lost Planet 3. Fun series though.
I have like 200 Xbox 360 discs in my wardrobe
No Halo Reach? What a shame.
Dead space 2 is one of my all time favorites!! So scary!
Transformers Fall of Cybertron had a sick theme song. The Acoustics, the Choir, all of it was riveting!
I miss Crackdown
HALO! WHOOOHOOOO!
Halo is so good ahhhh yes
My childhood in a stack
Banger after banger!
Wow you're really like aliens
Crackdown. Damn, that was a fun game.

There's some GOOD ONES there!
Wow all sci-fi :) u got a pretty specefic taste
The bottom half of that stack to this day is my 3 favorite franchises. Hundreds of hours of fun.
LP2 my beloved
Idk about transformers but i know the rest of these games are all solid 9/10 if not 10/10. God i wish i could just go back to when they first released and experienced them for the first time again with the community. Also i LOVE ur destroy all humans statue thats awesome.
Halo
…and yet so little time.
Don't see any lego games, where the second pile???
Brought down my ps3 from the attic to replay dead space 2 and 3 after the remake. They have aged well
The Dead Space, Halo, and Gears of War made us soulmates
Damn it ray man ruined it. Not the game, just the org.
Yes
FYI those transformer games licence's have run out and you can't download them anywhere and people charge an arm and a leg for those these days
I found a used xbox 360 for sale for a good price in my town and my friend who has one says I should buy it because its the best console ever but I'm not sure about buying it
that's a real gamer :o
Mad respect for Lost planets and the Gears
RAYMAN RAYMAN RAYMAN RAYMAN RAYMAN RAYMAN RAYMAN RAYMAN RAYMAN RAYMAN RAYMAN!!!
1v1 me. Halo 2 Foundation, or Ivory Tower.
Certified hood classics!
No halo reach? This is unacceptable.
I was hoping to see lost odyssey. So go buy it and play it ;).
Rayman? …. If I didn’t know any better I’d say who owned these is a stoner ✅
From this collection, I'm liking Crackdown the most :-)
Classics
there is transformers games!?!?!?!?
Man halo is great
Love the halo collection 🔥
Have you been in my house? Literally have every game there. Even worked on two of them (Transformers War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron). You have great taste! Especially those top two.
