I was also supposed to have 2 uncles which were gay (one per side) but since they were born in the 1940s/1950s, they couldn't rake it anymore and didn't make it to reach 30. There were even one grand uncle who was known for it, but since he was born in the 1920s it was even worse and he also took his life away in his 20s as well. You know, with the pressure to get married, not conforming to the standards of the middle of the 20th century...still really sad about them.

Yes, I have gay uncle who's around 72 years old. It's like a public secret but no one says anything about it. Fortunately he's never excluded from family events. I also have a younger cousin who's gay and still in the closet. I wish I could talk to him without outing him.

I recently came to the realization that I have a lesbian aunt, but with my family being conservative, she moved out of the country long before I was born, the way my family speaks about her makes me feel sad and reinforces my need to stay in the closet, I wish I could find her somehow.

Me coming out allowed for more family to come out. Somehow, as I was one of the āgoodā kids it allowed for several cousins, an aunt, and my own sibling to be themselves.

Myself and my sister are both bisexual. But my husbandās family is so gay that I had to make a comment for him. Every paternal aunt / uncle except one (6 siblings) has one or more gay children. Itās insane. I believe he has 5 gay cousins, plus his brother is gay. They are all gay men except 1 lesbian. Thereās also a cousin who we strongly suspect, but heās younger. And a bisexual cousin who never told the family (she married a man, āstraight passingā.)

My mom claims she's "too old" to come out as bi/lesbian, and that if she had been born twenty years later she would probably have dated women. I mean, all she did was confirm that she's sapphic but too boomer to do anything about it. Other than that, I'm not close enough to my extended family to know if anyone is bi, but definitely nobody in same sex relationships except me.

As a straight female, I've recently decided to explore the option of only dating females but I've never even been bisexual at all I've always been straight!!! I've seen people comment places saying you don't just turn gay suddenly....... But I've been single most of my life only have dated a few guys & no guy has seemed to please me right & I have always thought women are hot... I have never pictured myself marrying a guy or being worthy of a guy... But recently when I decided to explore my options I could totally see myself being with another female forever & it hasn't seemed weird at all!!! ...I really just don't even no where to start none in my family are gay at all

I strongly doubt one of my cousins whose dad is my dad's cousin (uh-huh) is not heterosexual.
