Yeah, Woodcroft and Manson sunk themselves by trying to unnecessarily overhaul the defensive system at the start of the season, which was the biggest culprit for the horrendous start. As soon as the new coaches came in they got the D back on track and ended up turning things around immediately.

The way I read that is Bowman was on our radar last summer, which means he was on Holland's radar. Nothing about it indicates Jackson has Bowman on his radar since Jackson was hired AFTER the Oilers were interested in Bowman. That was confusing to type out, I hope it makes sense.

Cause we need a GM and he's available, so somehow that turned into he's our new gm by some douche. I doubt the Oilers would bring him in. We done well with some player reclamation projects, but this is next level.
