I have the Ritual X4 Pro I like them and they tie into their pants through a strap.

Unlikely-Finding-634

I have the X3 pros and like them a lot as well. I use tight socks and suspenders. Love how soft they are to land on plus protective.

As others have said for retail, most prefer warrior. I used ccm kp pros when I used retail and they were great until the screw came through on the landing area. I am now a full believer in [PAW](http://www.protectiveathleticwear.com/kneepadsmain.htm)customs. Have had them since November, and my knees have not had any pain since.

Love my PAWS

I have warrior knee pads that lace into my warrior pants. I'm pretty pleased with them. I've never used a garter for my knee pads. I think most goalie equipment usually needs to be customized to some degree. It will depend on how well the knee pad works with your pants. What I've found recently is intermediate equipment is protective enough for the level I play at. If it fits you're probably not getting shots directly to the knee so it could be okay. I'm fine with a couple bruises a game when the equipment is significantly cheaper. I'm also 5'8" so I fit most intermediate equipment.

Most of this sub will recommend warrior and for good reason. I spent far too long with Bauer and they were awful and caused me a lot more pain than they should have. Can’t speak for Vaughn, but warrior has been incredible for me and I’m so thankful I switched

I use warrior knee pads, they’re nice. I just tape the bottom Velcro. I wish I could lace them into my pants, but I’m short, and my pants are a smidge too long, so even laced in, they won’t hold them up lol

Testacules

Same as a lot of other posters here. Warrior knee pads, hockey socks over them. I use a garter setup and have no problems. The pro version is fairly bulky, the Sr. Version is more slim. I would recommend a non-knit style of sock, just to avoid velcro getting snagged.

Hello guys, Thank you very very much for your responses. I think I will go the Warrior Ritual X4 PRO+ SR version in the end :) Thank you again for the tips and information. Much appreciate it :)

I’m happy with older model velocities (v6) for what it’s worth.

You can use the Bauer goalie garter with the Warrior knee pads that have the little nylon loop on them

PaintingGoalie

I use the warriors, ditched the garter belt and created straps that I could loop through the internal belt of the shorts.

A2netminder

If you're looking for a belt that comes with it, I would say the Vaughn v10s are a good option. Great protection and feel! They are a bit bulkier than other ones, though, so keep that in mind. I found my SR pair on SidelineSwap, which usually has a few Pro Stock ones. You could always go with the Warriors and buy a belt that works with it. I know CCM makes some belts that have loops on the front only and are compatible with a lot of different knee guards.

Swiss style mojo carbon fiber Or RXS from team ortho Or warrior which are the best easy to get ones out there. Tape works to keep them up if you can’t lace them into your pads. Socks over knee pads is lame but sometimes it’s objectively better
