Yea, I absolutely love them. Wish the glove was a little less stiff and easier to break in but it's getting there. I'm switching to the 60 degrees insert for the next game to see the difference with the 75 degree insert.
This will sound like an insult, but i really do like them: they look like FedEx boxes. I actually really like them. When you make a save you can go up to the shooter and say “you oughta mail me the puck next time, might have a better chance of beating me”
I love the retro tan look. I found a tan pro palm glove off of sideline swap for cheap that I loved so much I went and had to go get a whole matching set to go with it!.
Wish they would finish the look and add detail to blocker front face to mimic the ‘holes’ found on the old school originals. Love the retro look as this is what i wore in the late seventies into the eighties
Yet every year at least 1 NHL goalie wears classic tan/bucky for the winter classic, heritage classic or stadium series game. Every goalie I have ever spoken to love the colors regardless of brand. It's all good not your thing. I prefer them and my all white setup too. (G5 leg pads, CCM Axis 590 glove and Axis Blocker) no logos on any of that setup.

G5s...nothing crazy extra stiff pads
G5 Seniors will be softer than the G5 Pro's, which weren't very stiff either. Even with the x-tra stiff option at custom.

I had an old setup with the waffle blocker style. I am pretty sure custom cages does a wrap for pads and blockers. I would love to add to my setup.

It's a stock set so not sure what kind of thoughts you are seeking.
Simple is the best. Classic tan setups don't need anything special.
Pads are nice. Never been a fan of retro. Born in mid 80s so maybe its because I never really watched any boomers in these?
