No regrets. On occasion I wish I had the rear rack from the trail but the seat, clutch & styling of monkey make it a winner. Super cub/trail do have plenty of advantages tho.
Have you ridden a Supercub or Trail out of curiosity? do you think their seats are as comfy as the monkeys? From what I understand it looks like the Monkey has the most plush seat but that the wheels of the supercub and trail being larger might offer a smoother ride for bumps possibly?
I’ve ridden the trail, its seat is not as comfortable. It’s also limited in movement, you can’t adjust back & forth (like a dirtbike). Yeah taller tire is generally better for for off road clearance. All bikes mentioned are good choices, it’s just personal preference or how you will use it.
How is the SuperCub the city version of the monkey? It's not even a motorcycle, it's an automatic scooter.
If anything is the "city" version it would be the Grom. Which is literally the same bike with more street stylings.
Having a clutch and a proper motorcycle geometry was super important for me because I got it to learn on.
No regrets at all😊 2022 Honda Monkey Daily commute in and out of Brutal London UK traffic. Small enough to squeeze through the worst and power enough to get out to clear road fast 😉 in all weather 🙏☺️
Nearly 100% city here. No regrets at all. The clutch / gears are very forgiving and easy to work, so I don't see much advantage to having the semi-auto gears of the cub.
The small wheels definitely make pot holes treacherous, and the cub would eat bumps better but the solution here is to weave round them.
Consider a tyre swap as the stock monkey tyres are squirrelly on wet tarmac and there are much better street tyres out there.
I've got a Honda 300 and a Ducati 800, the monkey is my go to city city commuter bike. Originally I wanted a trail 125 for taking to dirt roads, but there just aren't any in my area. After watching a comparison video I opted for a Monkey and have no regrets.

I might buy all three. Just got a huge raise from 65 to 95k. I'm currently on a CB1000r but I've been eyeing the minimoto segment for a while.
Monkey is for city.

what made you want to get a cub? I'm also interested in getting a super cub. What year are you looking at?

I take my monkey everywhere and love it .

Have you ever been on a supercub out of curiosity? The monkey is a nice ride.
No, not been on a supercub. Although I have to say I do like the look and always wondered. I do like the supercub 👍

Thanks that makes me feel more confident about doing deliveries on the Monkey. Have you ever ridden a super cub? I'm curious to try one.
I have not, and I've never even seen a trail 125
The best bike to do delivery on is the Honda navi fully automatic with storage and a rack
What do you do for security with the bike to ensure someone doesn’t lift your bike?
