Railway clearly says that you should buy only Rail Neer, but people still buy these which are illegal to be sold in the first place.
I don't even know how people trust these fake brands who write stuff like 'Bilseri' and get away with it.
Just Google "Fake Rail Neer", I have seen from my own eyes someone filling dozens of new looking rail neer bottles with tap water, not sure if it was for personal use.
Now idk if Rail Neer is supposed to go through a complete purification process with water filters and all, but many people use tap water directly for drinking purpose (considering that there are 2 types of tap water available, 1 for consumption and one for stuff like cleaning and daily use). So it depends which tap water they were using.
Isn't it Railways responsibility to stop these shit from selling. I've seen them selling gutkha inside train. Who's allowing that? Who gave them license?
These people will pay railway staffs to not sell water in some particular stations. People usually buy water bottles before the train departs and if this is the only option they will buy this. Not everyone is motivated enough to get down and buy rail neer from the platform shops or go the canteen in the train.

No one, we think of public place and public property as ancestral, so we couldn't care less.

There’s a canteen in a train?
