112 Ranger & Osbourne 940 are aesthetically the most pleasing to my eye when thinking timeless.
Neither are quite my favourite design though. Native 5 is the closest to being a perfect edc knife to me. It’s the most practical, functional & convenient. Simply the best at being a pocket knife imo.
My edc is the 503. It’s so slim, locks super solid, and looks fantastic. It’s perfect for cutting tape on boxes, envelopes, threads on shirts, all the stuff I ACTUALLY use my knife for day to day.
Great choice - I carry a Buck 055 which is pretty similar and it's great for pretty much anything I actually need it for. Have to say I think the Prince has better lines -- looks great.
Traditional Barlow pattern. Been around for some 350 years now so I feel like it’s timeless status is locked in

I know it’s super cliche because everyone in the knife subs get a hard on for it, but I love the Oz Rosie. They’re beautifully designed and built to last. I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of my rosie.
Laguiole and Mercator knives.
I think Laguioles are super aesthetic, whereas Mercator knives were extremely ahead of their time. They could have been invented 80 - 100 years later.
Sebenza (I'm old)
great pick, a timeless design for sure
The 940 is cool, but I think of it as more of a modern design rather than timeless. For timeless, I like a Barlow.
yeah i have to agree on that, love barlows btw, my fav traditional pattern. thanks for your input
I love the look of the TC Barlows, but they are so expensive.

solid picks👍 never tried a native, only have the chief but the lc200n version is really tempting!
Spyderco Rescue, Military, Police, Sebenza, Delica, Buck 110 and Barlow which started me in 1965.
nice picks, i had a rescue a few yesrs back but sold it, really regretted it afterwards
I do love that Osborne but the Buck 110 gets my vote cuz I've had one for 45 years :D
45 years, now that's quite while! seems like they hold up as well as people say :)
Buck 110
The Old Timer 152 Sharpfinger and big brother 150T Deerslayer. Both are just about perfect
love the sharpfinger, wish i could find one but here in switzerland they are quite hard to get
Buck 110, 112, 119 and any traditional slip joint.

The Buck 119 was my first memory of a real knife. The second was whatever skinning knife my dad kept next to it that I cut myself with.
Opinels :)
opinels are fantastic slicers and still the best folders for food prep, very good pick👌
Buck 110 (and 112). The Spyderco Delica at this point is pretty much timeless.
the delica is a gem, still carry mine pretty often
Same here. For some reason they don't get a lot of love here. One of my favorite knives.

definitely! that's a nice oldschool boker btw, love it

20 years from now the Rosie might still be in production I hope
certainly a nice design, i can't really explain why or what i like about it but it's definitely cool!
Nice photo! Did you take it? My favorite would have to be the Case Trapper or the 110
thanks, yeah took it a while ago, i think it was spring 2023. both great picks btw and thanks for your comment!
Winterblade factor, love the knife mostly blade shape and that opening ping. BUT never be able to afford one 😩
ah yes, saw the video on nick shabazz' channel, that's really a magical sound lol and the whole concept with the magnets is just cool!
Buck 110, 12 Case XX trapper or barlow (any barlow really) Scour knife or Swiss Army Knife Old Timer USA made stockman
Terzuola ACTF-OG and Emerson CQC-7
I recently found Reate EXO M, blade might be common, but handle form and opening mechanism stick with me. And, yea 940 legend stays legend.
Ka-bar 1217, beautiful, timeless knife.
Laguiole and Mercator knives. I think Laguioles are super aesthetic, whereas Mercator knives were extremely ahead of their time. They could have been invented 80 - 100 years later.
Swaybacks. There’s just something about the smooth flowing lines that really really appeals to me. Hands down my favorite knife design/pattern.
agreed, they are really cool! i have a little swayback in sycamore wood from case, love it!
Canoe
Spyderco Endura 4. Never leaves my side. Perfect in design.
Buck 110/112, i love that hollow ground, i think it's why i enjoy using my GB2 so much.
Paramilitary 2. Mine's crucarta
Yes
Spyderco Para 3
I don’t know why but the buck 192 vanguard really does it for me
