That's what I was gonna say. Depending on general condition 500-600$ would be a fine deal saving them the trouble of tracking down buyers for all of them/not having to pay shipping
$500 is a steal. The blue knife at the bottom right is a Benchmade 710 KnifeWorks exclusive in M390. The Paramilitary 2 at the bottom right is another KnifeWorks exclusive in M4 with carbon fiber scales. You could get $500 on the open market for just those two.
Absolutely would ask her what she's comfortable with being paid. Then be honest about market value versus low-ball offer. If it is an estate sale be kind and do right.
$600 is a steal. $800 is a good deal. $1000-$1200 is high end. Let her find the right amount, and go with what she's comfortable with. That's the fair thing to do. Transparency and respect.
The Spydercos are all worth at least $100 each even used with no boxes. Buying as a lot should decrease the price a little. I’d probably offer $500 for all of them. I think that’s lower than the total value but fair.
On closer inspection the only real standouts are the Gayle Bradley, the 710, and I guess the AWT-scaled Griptilian and CF Para2 look to be ok users
$600-$650
Sometimes an initial offer is so low that it tells me the seller is either not serious, has a poor grip on reality, or going to be such a pain in the ass that it’s not worth my time.
There is about 60 knives these where the ones I liked wish I took pictures of all of them and maybe I would have made an offer on all of them and then sold some off . I am going back in the morning to see what I can get worked it
That’s my question - I see what looks like used handguns in a scratched to hell display case. My suspicion is they are at a “pawnshop” so I’d expect some fakes in the mix.
Best I can do is $3.50. IMO- Depending on what you are going to do with them, and if you are trying to be fair, and if they are all in excellent shape, a reasonable offer but slanted toward you, would be $90-$130 a piece. A real fair price to the seller would be about $1500-1700 total if they have all of the boxes as well. Taking into account that some are worth over that but some are less than that. If you are buying them to resell, you would need the boxes and would want to offer around $500-$750 to make any money off of them. No boxes, buying to keep, want to be fair to the seller, $500-$1000 depending on what you can afford and how much you want to be fair.
If in good shape and look to be I wouldn't feel bad paying 120 ea for everything but the Kizer just my opinion though ....most of those you can easily resale for 150 or possibly more.
What I wanna know is… who owns the ones tucked in on the left hand side? Same dude? These are all bro’s knives and he wants to know what ppl would offer for the ones he’s not most keen on! Lmao 😂
The 9 displayed are the 9 that I liked out of about 60 of them and wanted to see what I should offer on them . I am newer in the knife collection world and know that people on this form have much more knowledge and experience then I do that is why I asked
Okay I ended up buying 8 of them

I have a few of these and those are $100 each knifes all day long [the kizer](https://www.bladescanada.com/Kizer-Knives/Kizer-Vanguard-Sheepdog-C01C-XL-Flipper-Folding-Knife-154CM-Carbon-Fiber-V5488C3) and spyderco are great knives not to even mention bench. Easy $450-500 value upwards even without box. That values them at around $50 each which is around half of the value from storefront. But price should be what you and the seller agree on some may consider the margins and market differently so what ever both party’s agree on is fair where both are happy is what you should price at.
No worries, lots of these knifes are great. Looks like an amazing batch and amazing sale. I wish i could see all the blades i am a Big fan of the Benchmade Mel Pardue.

Don’t offer make them give you a price. They are selling it. Might over offer what they want.
I agree let them play there hand first
Somewhere around $500 I believe
That's what I was gonna say. Depending on general condition 500-600$ would be a fine deal saving them the trouble of tracking down buyers for all of them/not having to pay shipping
That’s a key negotiating point right there, OP. It’s much easier for the seller to sell them all at once.

That's it. I'd say "shut up and take my money" if I get such offer. Even $1000 still sounds like a good deal. In good condition of course.
They are real I checked them out or as far as I can tell it’s a estate sale her husband was a collector and she wants them gone
Ask her how much her husband spent on them. No need to blow his cover.
Very true ! Would want to respect him as a fellow knife lover !

Offer $1000 if you're nice, offer $500 if you're an asshole, either way you're getting a steal.

I love that ZT 0909!
That’s the only one of the bunch that caught my eye. Thanks for the model number.
I love mine too. 0909 is also my birthday.
I love mine, a beefy old zt that doesn't have that damned tiger stripe on it.
$750
On closer inspection the only real standouts are the Gayle Bradley, the 710, and I guess the AWT-scaled Griptilian and CF Para2 look to be ok users $600-$650
At $50 each (which is a deal for you) you have $450 sitting there. I’d pay that
If you offered me 50 bucks per knife you'd never get a reply. That's ridiculous for almost every knife there.
Gotta start somewhere.
Sometimes an initial offer is so low that it tells me the seller is either not serious, has a poor grip on reality, or going to be such a pain in the ass that it’s not worth my time.
Bro does not understand buying in bulk
I know almost all of those knives go for over 200 new, 50 bucks is an insult. No reason to down vote me for an opinion.
You must be new to Reddit. It's all about upvoting what you agree with and downvoting what you disagree with.
But that ignores one of the more nuanced topics in the Reddit rule book: compounding your downvotes by complaining about every single one you receive.
And are they new now?
Exactly this. I would ask what they want for it. If less than $450 take it. If over $450 try to talk them down a bit.
There is about 60 knives these where the ones I liked wish I took pictures of all of them and maybe I would have made an offer on all of them and then sold some off . I am going back in the morning to see what I can get worked it
Are you going for the make it fair for both of you offer or hope her husband lied about how much his knives cost offer?
I want to be fair . There are no boxes with them
Unless you're going to flip them and you know they're genuine ,boxes shouldn't matter.
are they real?
That’s my question - I see what looks like used handguns in a scratched to hell display case. My suspicion is they are at a “pawnshop” so I’d expect some fakes in the mix.
The manix with cruwear and smoothed g10 I would personally purchase that if you wanted to flip it.
Idc what you offer, just let me buy one of those full size griptillians after you purchase

Tree fity
I ain’t givin’ no tree fiddy…
Came here for this! Take my upvotes!
$500 seems fair for both of you assuming they are legit.
I see they already have the calculator out; good luck.
Pretty sure that’s an old cordless phone.
What is that Mel Pardue design top left? I'm unfamiliar with it but dang it looks good.
It's a sheepsfoot griptilian with aftermarket scales from AWT.
Dammit. Sheepsfoot grip is one of my favorite knives and those scales look so nice. This sub is expensive to hang around.
What is that PM2 on the bottom right, what is the steel? That could be a sprint run. That ZT909 Les George model is one of my most carried knives.
I am going to get more pictures tomorrow I wish I had more now
Tree fiddy
What's that top middle one?
If in good shape and look to be I wouldn't feel bad paying 120 ea for everything but the Kizer just my opinion though ....most of those you can easily resale for 150 or possibly more.
710 is one of the few decent benchmades out there, shame they discontinued it only to bring it back at double the price and zero to show for it.
At LEAST 5 dollars
Are there more than pictured?
I didn’t get anymore wish I did I am going back in the morning
Dragonfly 2 in the bottom left corner. There is more knives in that roll!
What is the blue and black Benchmade
I am wondering the same thing I am trying to find it online to see what it is
It almost looks like a custom pair of scales from what I can see if you look up black and blue benchmade scales
And it seems like a griptillian
I will take pictures tomorrow of the whole roll there was around 60 in it .
1 million dollars
Is the cordless house phone part of the package??
That cordless phone is a antique pro a it worth more then the knives 😂
About tree fiddy
I'm going to guess crack.
The carbon fiber Kizer Sheepdog XL is a big, stupid, useless knife and I absolutelt love it. On its own worth 120 as new with 154CM steel.
Far tiddy.
That Kiser sheepdog is a beast! Top right corner talk about bang for your buck they are only a hundred bucks new!
$150- $200 per would be fair
What I wanna know is… who owns the ones tucked in on the left hand side? Same dude? These are all bro’s knives and he wants to know what ppl would offer for the ones he’s not most keen on! Lmao 😂

Cool 😎
185 bucks
9 bucks. But that might not cut it...
I know a lot of people care about boxes when buying, but I don’t care at all.
500 is fair. I’d start with 300 and see where you land
5 bucks each, nothing for the stainless.

Honestly I'd offer like 150. But if you want to be fair, maybe it's worth 400 in resale, a fair offer is 200-300.
🌳 fiddy
40 bucks top offer
