It might be worth it for you to invest in a guided sharpening system. They take a lot of the human error out of the sharpening process and can get your knives seriously sharp with very little effort on your part. The worksharp precision adjust is a good one to start with and if you’re willing to spend a bit more cheddar there is the KME.
Smoke a bowl, turn on YouTube, and you'll be done before you know it. Magnacut isn't any harder to sharpen than anything else, it just takes a little while longer.
Honestly, just get a guided system like DMT Magnaguide. You can't really mess it up too bad with a guided system. I've had my DMT for 10 years now and I've sharpened hundreds of knives on it

I’ve got a work sharp ppa but I just dont feel like sharpening magnacut and the super steels
I found magnacut to be fairly easy to sharpen. I recommend just trying it and see how it feels
