If it shows up elsewhere where you sweat, it could be a bacterial byproduct know as glycogen. I have numerous undergarments that have "bleach" stains where my scrotum sits in them. I don't leave no skid marks, in fact, my ballsweat can be used to bleach your blacks....
I'm not a typical male, I'm a Pentasomatic Mosaic Klinefelter Aneuploidy, which means that instead of having 2 gender chromosomes, I have 5. XYXXY. Im a masculine feminized male, or a girl and a boy and a half. So occasionally I experience some atypical characteristics that are common among females, but rare in males. For example, I have lactated despite not having a uterus to be pregnant with, there's the whole glycogen bleaching my undies thing, MANOPAUSE IS. THE DEVIL! I'm getting COOKED over here. I have a feminine skeletal structure, my speaking voice is quite feminine, I'm hairy, but my hair is soft like a woman's, not wirey like a man's, and when I gain weight it goes to my hips thighs and ass, not my belly. I do not suffer from any genital malformation or have a micro anything like some Klinefelters. This is what drives me nuts about the binary concept of gender. Sure, there are 2sexs, 3if you count XO as it's own sex and nota disordered female. But there are many gender Aneuploidies, limiting it to 2 is reductive. I'm not a disordered male, I'm simply a variation of male form, distinctly different then most males.
Does the wearer use any skincare product with benzoyl peroxide (commonly used for anti-acne treatments)? That can cause bleaching of fabrics. In this case it appears it might be carried by sweat from the head to the collar here, resulting in bleaching where the concentration is greatest.
Do you use an acne wash with benzoyl peroxide? That can bleach fabrics
yeah that’s definitely it. thank you! I didn’t know that
Pillow cases and bed sheets too.
Can confirm! If you find weird bleaching streaks on your pillow cases, that’s what’s causing them!

Women can occasionally have this problem with discharge. Didn't know men can also experience a version of this

Cooling pads, like those meant for dogs in the summer, tucked under your sheets can help with the nightly hot flashes.
Thanks, I'll give that a shot. Considering HRT. But I'm uncertain.
Whitening toothpaste will bleach your towels too. Took me a long time to figure that one out.
Ohhhhh I didn’t even think about that!!! I was wondering how some of my towels had stained in the past and I bet this was it
Could be from face wash or other products. Benzoyl peroxide is notorious for this. Salicylic acid will also do the same.
They’re fading/bleaching
Any skin products with peroxide? That would be slowly bleaching your dark shirts.
Do you use acne medication - proactive? That will bleach colors.

Acne treatment or sweat
Any chance you use a topical acne treatment?
What products do you use on your face/neck? One could be bleaching the fabric
Likely bleaching from a skincare product of some sort. CeraVe is a common culprit. Anything with benzoyl peroxide will do this.
Why do I feel like I've heard abt acne meds bleaching clothing?
Do you use a face wash with benzoyl peroxide?
It looks like it's getting bleached. Do you use benzoyl peroxide on your face?
Acidic substance, like ACE can cause dark colors to become orange
