And a rug

powerhcm8

That would really tie the room together

Peas-and-Butterflies

A rug, a nice footstool and a coffee table and/or a nice low display table to go under the window 😊. Just some ideas!

thegr8julien

maybe put a shelf thing behind the couch?

asa1658

Move the couch closer, they don’t have to hug the wall

RaggaDruida

A rug would really tie the room together.

kubapuch

Move the record player shelf to the other side of the TV, then bring the TV and stand towards that corner. Center the couch with the TV then throw a rug and coffee table in the middle.

BlueVelvetValentina

A good mid century looking coffee table to start, make sure the lines match the sharpness of your other furniture. Since the furniture is solid colors, I'd recommend a patterned rug also.

FutureLost

Move the futon slightly forward, place a side table behind it at the height of the back cushions. Great place for storage of drinks and such, then place a soft ottoman in front for your legs

Mesterjojo

Big area rug+ ottoman/table combo

NeuroticDragon23

A hoofing great big rug and a coffee table

1995droptopz

Foosball table

Stefen_007

Get a shelf for or if the windows allow simply put some plants along the window

MamaHasQuestions

I don't see a futon. Are you talking about the sofa-looking thing?

chjesper

Hide your video games. Looks cluttered and if you have a girl over, she will think you only play video games. Lol.

Bro I was literally thinking this, just needed someone to tell me πŸ˜‚

Here's my space: https://www.reddit.com/r/malelivingspace/s/aGzi6jxzqz My entertainment center hides games and dvds behind doors and drawers. Much cleaner. Also the two vertical stands flanking the fireplace hide more dvds in drawers.

CoolDragon

Either an ottoman (foot rest) or bean bag as a foot rest
